The fact of the matter is it's really hard to maintain the point of view through your entire life, all day. It's like, most kids tend to go on through life, and then the fact that you have friends that you believe will "spend eternity in pain" is really secondhand. Normally you see them just like most other people, then if you happen to be on the topic, then you realize it. It's actually quite a hard thing to deal with.

I have a major spending problem. I don't make much money, but I spend a lot. I almost bought a bottle of Cristal because it was on sale for $189.
I own 12 colognes, and I want more. I'll probably never finish most of them.
My memory (both long and short term) has become increasingly worse since I started drinking/smoking weed and it kind of scares me a bit. I also don't have a normal sleep pattern, which probably also has an effect.
I've been very mopey and anti-social, almost like I'm depressed, but I don't feel depressed. I sleep all the time too. I think if I were to describe these symptoms to a doctor, he'd say I was depressed, but I don't feel sad or suicidal.
