Orlando in 6, if injuries are really bad in 7. Cleveland is going to sweep Atlanta. I hope somehow, someway Dallas and Denver both lose the series. Orlando is such an overrated team. A healthy Celtics team would sweep them even with Jameer Nelson. Lets not forget what happened to Orlando IN Orlando when both teams were healthy. If you saw that game you saw Rondo take a shit on Jameer Nelson and wipe his ass with Dwight Howard's jersey. Courtney Lee- LOL yea right. Boston chased Orlando off the 3 point line and it was an absolute defensive rape all night. LA in 6. 4 if Ron Artest starts picking up Tracy McGrady's phone calls for advice.

That moment when Rose blocked Rondo has set up 10 years of future PG rivalry. Chris Paul, Deron Deron, Rondo, Rose, Westbrook... with Brandon Jennings and Ricky Rubio on the way. The future of the 1 is solid. (I tried to include Stuckey in the above list... but my conscious wouldn't allow me. Sad) I loooooove Rubio, but I'm banking on Lawson being the better pro and I hope to god the Pistons move up to get him.

Nene's like the closest active player to Hakeem right now. The nuggets are definitely the real thing.

I think Cyric just had his anti-Boston tea in the morning or something ^_^ I'll concede that Pierce may not be that punk-esque, but KG most definitely is and he's given plenty of examples of it this season. Being intense is one thing, but disrespectful and obnoxious is something else. The way he taunts opposing players, screams at them, engages in his completely unnecessary on-court antics, etc. all show absolutely no respect for his opponents and make him, and his teammates by association, look classless. There were several reports regarding multiple sources from multiple teams complaining about the Celtics' behavior and conduct this season, which is rare and deplorable from a championship team. Neither the Spurs, the Lakers, or the Pistons reacted to winning a championship the way the Celtics did this year. The fact that it was so believable to everyone except Boston fans lends it more credibility. I honestly believe that there is a trickle-down effect from a team's best player, and that KG is responsible for his team's obnoxious and disrespectful behavior, and excessive and unnecessary trashtalk. Many teams have been dominant and won championships in the past, but this Boston team acts like it's the first. I can't remember the last time a team was so disliked by the rest of the league and other teams' fans.

Mentioning Nene in the same sentence as Olajuwon, let alone comparing the two, is just a traveshammockery. Nene isn't anywhere near even belonging in any discussion that involves a comparison of Olajuwon to others. Also, there are plenty of other players who more talented offensively and defensively than Nene, and Olajuwon was one of the best two-way Centers to ever play the game.

Nene would be not be capable of handling the offensive load if a team were built around him like Olajuwon had in the late 80s. He also has nowhere near the athletic ability or shot blocking instinct and timing. I can think of one similarity: they are both centers. Outside of that, you are comparing a mid-upper tier center in a league where big men are dead to a top 5 center of ALL TIME. Get back to me when Nene can do this in an elimination game: ![]() By the way, since I'm posting this, I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on the NBA not announcing any punishment for Dalembert yet. I guess most people didn't get to see game 6 of PHI-ORL since it wasn't on national TV, but Dalembert threw an elbow right into Turkoglu's face (Hedo went nuts and got ejected but the refs missed the elbow). One of the side cameras caught it perfectly, and it was clearly more malicious than Dwight's elbow in game 5. If the NBA does not suspend Dalembert for the first game of next season, or at least levy a substantial fine, then you can tally up one more inconsistency in these playoffs.

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/wiley/040517/archive Oh yeah, violence. Don't say that word too loud around Kevin Garnett. I am disapointed in KG -- just as you said you were disappointed in me by going with the Wolves over the Kings strictly because of him. Break down these Game 7s for me in your nexty post please, Mr. Sports Guy, Mr. Cheers, Mr. Bahstan Garden, Mr. Fenway Park Luxury Box. I have really seen the Wolves' flaws now. Ervin Johnson is all but fossilized, I swear Mahorn would be more useful. Olowokandi should be arrested and charged with a felony, grand theft larceny; stolen more money than Jim McIlvaine What's killing the Wolves is not having Troy Hudson, who might be the best second-rotation lead guard in the league, after the guy the Kings are missing, Bobby Jackson. What kills me that it doesn't matter who wins -- the Lakers will beat either one. And the only guy who could change that is shrinking-ass violet. Did you see that look on his face during the Peeler Incident? OK, he gets the shot to the gut and it knocks him to his (HBO dialogue alert) *&$#!# knees, and what does he $#!*!@*&! do? He gets this look on his face, this Gandolfini look, you know the look, and I'm thinking, "Oh-oh, this is perfect, this is when he becomes Wolverine." Instead, he became Hugh Jackman. The Broadway version. Summama*itch! He throws a little forearm shiver to Peeler's chest, then Peeler clocks him like he's Tarver and KG is Roy. KG backs up, mind you, with a look on his face like somebody just hit him with an ax handle. Which is basically what happened. You said he was a second banana, Sports Guy. I admit it. You said it. I didn't believe it. But you may be right. Which is the final blasphemy.
