Lakers should be worried about being played to two coin flip games at home. Denver plays better at home (4th quarter high altitude advantage?). The lakers are certainly capable of stepping up to the challenge, such as breaking the celtics win streak, beating the cavs at home without bynum... but will they actually do it? I'd give 1:2:3 odds for lakers winning the next two:nuggets winning the next two:split.

They were pushed to the edge and got some luck to win game 1, and it won't get easier in Denver.I thought he was a 90% shooter. Still should have been the kiss of death. And just to reemphasize, Carmelo has become an absolute stud. I hope it's not temporary. I think he's been my favorite player to watch in these playoffs, especially on defense, and that's saying a lot considering what I thought about him last year.

You think the lakers are a lock to win a game 6 in denver's elimination game? Just like they closed out the yao-less rockets in game 6? On a related note, what happened to the nuggets suck, the nuggets faced the easiest schedule talk?

Yes, Melo has played well during these playoffs, but he wasn't shit until Denver picked up Billups(He's the real stud). The Denver Projects(Thugs) stole game 2!
