lebron was fairly disappointing in the clutch situations tonight though aside from his one basket that fouled Howard out (that really shouldn't have even been a foul).

Even more since they had time to prepare and they knew what was coming.. He doesn't have any other cards left in his deck. He's about to be decked out.

Stan van gundy takes a great defensive, but mediocre offensive center and a bunch of shooters and somehow ends up with almost 60 wins, the best defensive efficiency in the nba, and a great win record vs good opponents, including over the lakers, the cavs, but somehow not the celtics. And he does it with... well you expect howard to be good and make his team better, but the defensive dynamo that is hedo turkoglu and rashard lewis? JJ Redick's your stopper? If you started a pickup game and ended up choosing the orlando players, wouldn't you look at the cleveland team and say, damnit I messed up? His only downside is the whole master of disaster choking label. And I would have thought Jerry Sloan deserved coach of the year, but his road record against good teams was awful, while Stan van Gundy's was dominant.

Mike brown wins because his team finishes with the best record with the best player in basketball and he hires someone to take care of offensive strategy. Basically he does well because he didn't screw up. Ya lebron james is the best player in basketball, but Dwight Howard is one of the best as well. Rashard(spelling? ![]() Also note that Van Gundy didnt go with reddick but instead a more athletic defensive player. That being said, ya Stan van Gundy is a top notch coach. But you should give the magic players more credit. And give credit to Mike Brown. As to your second part. Several very knowledgeable basketball minds picked orlando over cleveland and even more stated that Orlando matches up very well with cleveland. Charles Barkley even picked the magic to win the championship. Orlando most definitely has talented players, they wouldn't be a bad choice for the pick up game at all.

Because sooner or later he's going to have an off night because everyone does, and he needs someone else to pwn shit up on the floor. It's a chicken and egg thing. They need to be more active but Lebron needs to get them involved as well. They were still moving around when he started ballhogging in the 3rd, and then they stopped and watched. A decent coach would've done something about that, but the Cavs don't have one!

Man, I'm sorry haha but I've seen you spell ridiculous as "rediculous" like 4 times now. And I was really impressed with the Magic's level of play but I don't think they'll stay that consistent this series. I also thought it was really really important that the Nuggest win game 1 and use that momentum; playing out of the hole is going to be brutal for them.

When he took a lot of those shots, he didn't have guys wide open saying, 'GIMME DA BALL'. They sat around and didn't run around the floor trying to create a play. I'm really not a big Kobe fan, but in that clip, Lamar Odom and Brian Cook gestulating from behind the 3point line is ridiculous
