20k, enought o play 1knl and win like 30k a month? how is that broke?

Ah that's how a sober rekrul reads like. I allways wondered...
Interesting that you want to invenst time in a sc/sc2 site. Why is that? I allways had kind of the feeling you stepped out of the circle. Where does the motivation come from?

Would anyone else be as stoked as me if these were compiled, along with any other rekrul goooodies? (progaming gossip, foreigners suck etc)

Is starting to earn money in poker again just as easy as flipping a switch for you? I'd imagine it wouldn't be easy to play with the knowledge you're broke. gl though
Also, if that website's supposed to be in english, how are you going to get the money to do the things you said? The foreign community isn't exactly huge anymore...

i like how the conclusion is to focus on poker more... yeah sure, cus u obviously are mature enough to handle the money/lifestyle it brings. I recommend you do something normal for a cpl years before you return to poker, you obivously will only go broke again and again if you play poker again as the immature kid that u are. And one time you wont be able to come back and earn money again and your life will be completely wasted.

So the natural conclusion is for him to do his job, ie play poker more. Not sure how you could argue this to be anything else. And if you read his posts you'd learn he did do a menial labour job for a while. That and he has the skills to earn ridiculous money, why would he choose not to use them. To be honest I have no idea what you're talking about, and I suspect nor do you.

Money isn't superficial.
It's what you do with it that determines what kind of value it truly holds.
Don't take this post as bashing your lifestyle because I could care less and I'm not one to judge.
Just telling you that there are other ways to think about money than just the superficial side of it. It can be used and leveraged to create / change many things in life....
Agreed. Rekrul, I always thought you were kind of an immature asshole. Funny, but just a jerk.
There are so many things you could have done with that money. It could have made this SC site you are talking about an instant reality. I hope that when you are once again on top you remember this, and stay a little closer to earth.
Good Luck. If the website is good, I will visit it and maybe even click your ads.

So with basically no resume and a college dropout education Rekrul should start applying to McDonalds etc instead of grinding out an easy $100+/hr poker life for awhile? Brilliant.

A couple of years seem indeed to be quite a stretch, but I think the point of DieHilde is that Rek should re-evaluate his view on money. I also agree that if Rekrul doesn't change he will experience the same situation again (assuming that he gets successful again with Poker).
Living a bit more mundane than usual for some time might let you regain some respect for money. Sure it's cool being able to burn 15k$ each weekend, but if it were only 10k$, this thread probably wouldn't exist.

Well that can be done without begging for minimum wage jobs, and lets be honest that's all Rekrul can get from traditional employment right now.

For people with average income it isn't, for someone spending 15k per weekend, it is.

sadly, that is true what xesnel or whatever person said.

This is a pretty good idea. I don't think it'd be much money but rek would be a pretty entertaining commentator and IMO tasteless does need a co-commentator as its more fun listening to two guys than one.
ps- I think it shows a lot of balls to come on here to tell how things really are now especially after all the showing off previously when times were good. A weaker person would have just lied about it or said nothing because you know your enemies are going to use it against you. Much respect for that.

If you had co-casted with Tasteless then you could have maybe casted the Tossgirl and finally achieved what has eluded you for so long. :[

You know, he can always go work as an English teacher...
PS.: (I think he'd fit in absolutely perfectly)
