I can relate to you "I'm broke" feeling, as I eat my 5th ramen packet in 3 days and know my entire wealth is inside my wallet, totaling a whopping $60 and change.
Good luck settling debts, both in your favor and from debts you owe. I think that takes priority when you have the money for it, so that you can have no worries about it when you make money after that.
Also good luck on your site and your other ambitions.

And one time you wont be able to come back and earn money again and your life will be completely wasted. So with basically no resume and a college dropout education Rekrul should start applying to McDonalds etc instead of grinding out an easy $100+/hr poker life for awhile? Brilliant. A couple of years seem indeed to be quite a stretch, but I think the point of DieHilde is that Rek should re-evaluate his view on money. I also agree that if Rekrul doesn't change he will experience the same situation again (assuming that he gets successful again with Poker). Living a bit more mundane than usual for some time might let you regain some respect for money. Sure it's cool being able to burn 15k$ each weekend, but if it were only 10k$, this thread probably wouldn't exist. Well that can be done without begging for minimum wage jobs, and lets be honest that's all Rekrul can get from traditional employment right now. You know, he can always go work as an English teacher... PS.: (I think he'd fit in absolutely perfectly) LMAO

i can't wait to see the outcome when two of the greatest minds in the bw scene are put together

i haven't read most of this thread
but if rekrul is feeling broke, it's probably because of how not-broke he used to be. it's something that can come with poker

you sound like a purged believer
not having money to waste and thus not having a decadent lifestyle is what makes you really happy
a site of these dreamlike proportions you are suggesting is.. at best.. hard to accomplish
but maybe you wanted only to dream a bit aloud
(not that it's impossible.. hell where would we be without dreams made come true.. but it sounds just too airy)

For people with average income it isn't, for someone spending 15k per weekend, it is. yeah, my bad, i guess he isnt the one who actually DECIDES HOW MUCH TO SPEND.

Yo man, sorry to hear you're going through some tough times, but it's good to hear you're learning a lot from it. I know you'll bounce back, though, but good luck anyways Dan.
