Very comfortable. Young with no comorbidities. I'm not vaccinated but I've had covid twice (very mild symptoms both times) so I have natural immunity. Like travis I don't mask unless I have to. If people are truly that at risk from something as mild as Omicron then they weren't going to events even before covid and if they do now they, like everyone else, go at their own risk.

My comfort level would be based on the rules put in place. Things like proof of vaccination, mask mandates, and building capacity limits would make me more comfortable. On a personal level, I'm not afraid of COVID. I got it once before vaccines were available and had mild symptoms. My roommate on the other hand had a horrible reaction to it and she was bedridden for almost a month even though we're the same age and she had no underlying conditions.
Tl;Dr, don't just think of yourself, think of who else you might spread it to, and who they might spread it to, etc. Being young and healthy doesn't make someone invincible.

So you caught COVID once, and then caught it again, and still think catching it gives you natural immunity. If you catch it a third time are you going to be super duper immune? 🤔

Being heavily immunocompromised I've learned that I can't trust anyone to care about anyone but themselves. Some people have no respect for anyone else, like they are the protagonist in a single player game, and this has forced me to more or less be isolated for the past two years.
People feel personally offended by the notion of wearing a piece of fabric in a slightly inconveniencing place to the point where there are others who are forced to stay home all the time to be safe.

This implies that most people die of transmissible diseases even outside of pandemics which isn't true at all. In normal years when we aren't in a pandemic these types of diseases kill a very small percent of the amount of people who die like single digit percents (based on US data). As opposed to the last 2 years where somewhere around 10-15% of all deaths were from COVID plus a similar percentage of hospitalizations.
Though in general I do think the western world is rather self center when it comes to these types of illnesses. Masking when you are sick should have been commonplace long before COVID as it is in Asian countries.

I would absolutely go. I am vaxed and boosted but do not understand why everyone is so scared all the time. Everyone is going to get Covid eventually so talking about side effects is pointless. You should just make your peace with it and hope that when you do get Covid it isnt that bad. The best way to do that is to keep up with your vaccinations and if you do the likelihood you will die is low.
