You can have an open discussion but whether or not there is a pandemic is just a fact. It actually boggles my mind someone would dispute that.

First, both natural and vaccine immunity wane over time. Though from what I have seen natural immunity seems more robust. I had covid in March 2020 (mild) and then again January 2021 (even more mild) so it's no shock that I (like basically everyone else, including the vaccinated) got Omicron. Second, you don't know what natural immunity is. Natural immunity (like vaccine immunity) doesn't mean you can't catch something ever again. It means that you are less likely to catch it in the future and if you do it probably won't make you as sick. Third, the same thing could be said about the vaccinated. Plenty of people are double and triple vaccinated yet they still get sick and still get other people sick. But hey, maybe by the 10th booster you'll be super duper immune and never get sick again.

Considerably less comfortable than I would be living in ignorance anyway.
I don’t have a huge amount of faith in my fellow human to not do things like ‘turn up anyway despite probably having Covid’ and whatnot.
Any event would likely require travel on my part, and that’s got to be a pain in the ass logistically if I did end up with Covid while abroad. Or not. I’ve lost track of all the rules and regs at this point.
