Note that this streams ONLY work for the Blizzcon coverage.
ATM. The first two streams only show a promotion video and the third doesnt work.
You need a plugin in order to watch the streams but its free too.

It wont have the full bandwidth the paystream has (1mbit) but I guess it will still be about 500kb which is still enough I think.

I know this is a long shot, but can anyone relay the GIGA stream to something lower like 200kb? Australian Internet sucks, and this one keeps buffering at random intervals

The booths were not sound proof at all. You could clearly see openings between the partitions. This caused the guy from the Netherlands to immediately pause and say "Shoutcast down!". The casters didn't even understand at first, and continued, only to have the same guy pause the game again to repeat the problem. He then left his booth to speak to the officials.
The casters then started casting while trying to avoid giving away important information.
The world was then embarassed by having the commentators say things like:
"Did you just say the hero name?"
"Uhh, yeah?"
"Tsk, tsk, tsk."
"I think he had a worker there that scouted it."
"Oh.."
And:
"See this here? That i'm pointing at? And this? And this?.... These will make a huge difference"
It was so difficult to watch but I just could not look away!

Wow this is all a bit n00b. I don't know much about WC3 but it's really annoying trying to watch something and the commentators can't even talk about it properly.
Was it so hard to soundproof the gaming cubicles? I hope they just go into SC when they come back, anyway. And I also hope there won't be loads of pausing and stopping in that, will just make it annoying to watch.
I wonder why Bunny is dual casting with Tasteless even though by her own admission she doesn't know much about SC?

Yeah, I don't understand how the "sound proof" concept could be so easily overlooked by the people who put that together. Why do they think the booths exist? Hopefully they'll have the sound-proof headphones for the SC players.. I'd hate to see a problem like this really screw this event up.
