He's not doing well and was back in the 1900 range when i watched him play yestetday. But i would not count him out just yet. I noticed he started to analyze his reps very methodical, which is good obv. if you wanna improve and he seems very determined to make it [ including ladder marathon at the end]. I think it would be good if je spents a few hours with a coach. His current understanding and raw mechanics are good enough for A, but not for S imho.
So despite me actually teasing him a lot in this thread ( which he deserves :p), im quite impressed so far.
€: Just checked on stream that current mmr is 1860. Thats a bad streak, i guess in part too because of the many stream snipes.

He has decent mechanics and decent micro/macro with protoss overall, but his build orders and timings are still a bit off. I think we all knew he'd do better with all-in builds than he would trying to analyze situations and adjust accordingly. At this pace I think he could realistically reach S within a month or two if he really wanted to. A coaching session with a CURRENT S rank protoss could speed things up drastically.

Yep, agreed. I expected him to peak 200-300 mmr lower than his highest mainrace mmr. Thats what ppl can reach from my experience without putting to much effort into the specifics of their offrace.

If you just play PvP and PvT it's possible but PvZ is way too hard to get to S in a week.

I was doing well A rank 2090 mmr. But last days is getting worse and worse. If im honest the challenge loss the fun for me. I never expected to make S rank. But I give the respect of the challenge and will play 7 days non stop without breaks for a minimum of 5 hours. These snipers are so Insane that some of them I ask sometimes games to practise and they dodge me.But here they are stream sniping.
Today 16:00 cest will be the last day of the challenge. MMR right now is 1962 I think.

Respect for playing the full 7 days and for not giving up even though you are doing 6-7 hours non-stop ladder games each day. This is hard work and diligence few people have so i appreciate it + its interesting to watch the progress as an observer. People who don't give up eventually achieve their goals, gl hf

For a popular streamer it is necessary to use low latency mode imo, because otherwise there will be problems with viewer interaction and the quality of games will suffer. Viewers need to talk to him and help him improve build orders and how to counter his enemies

Snipes and blind countering kind of go against the spirit of the challenge which is a bit disappointing.

I don't think you can say indefinitely that opponents are stream cheating lol

Stream sniping is a relatively difficult affair. There’s a lot of people of similar MMR on ladder, even if timed perfectly it’s hard to get matched. Most games are unlikely to be snipes.

good try Eon. I enjoyed the content. Don't let a handful of scrubs take away the fun. We know who the stream snipers are. Same pathetic lot.

Sniping someone from Korea is very difficult, sniping someone from EU is not. The player base is very small.

...so how did it go? A short summary of the week would be nice.

Feels a bit odd to me that you took the challenge on Eon without considering that you may need to deal with these snipers and such. Why didn't you take a couple of days off streaming and play ladder to see if you can truly rise to S rank with toss when you saw you were getting sniped. Reason is that as it stands, it almost sounds like an excuse as in "I can probably do it, but I keep getting sniped and BO countered". I would've liked to see if you could make S toss in a week as well, but unless you rose the several hundred MMR needed since your last post, I guess not.
Hopefully you now consider trying for S rank Terran in a week lol, but I highly doubt many are capable of that feat.

From day 1 i stated making S rank will be hard.I also asked viewers about adding stream delay and we realized it is a fun challenge and im not gonna win the Champion League here.
So lets make a resume. This doesnt deserve a thread and was suposed to be a fun challenge.
Why you took the challenge ?
I had the intention to play protoss few days. People keep coming and asking why are you playing protoss all the time. Fazek proposed the challenge and i took it.Is a good way for people to stop asking the question + is going to give some different hype to my stream.
Stream snipers situation.I also expected it to happen but not at the lvl it happened. Basically some guys that in the past i asked for practise and dodged it etc started to snipe me on ladder 3 days non stop. And while you can argue well eon to make S rank u need to win these guys. Well. after playing 4 days minimym 5 hours -maximum 8 hours x day and do u see that your oponent is with the win build order. the first scouts.etc . is mentally exhausting.I for example changed my race to zerg to counter snipe them but ofc they didnt look for games.
About protoss: PvP :Honestly idk how people play pvp. that matchup is a head breaker. to play pvp u really need to be emotion less. never figured out how to get a solid win in the matchup.
PvT: Not a hard matchup to play but i have the feeling that in order to get it done well need to get right the Protoss dragoon micro. the reaver spots that get u kills. and learning specific build orders.
PvZ: My highest winrate comes from this one. The most difficult thing i found in this matchup is when to send the worker to make the first pylon in my natural for Gateway expand.
Resume: Not build orders Not Hotkeys Not commands (most of the time i make buildings with mouse) Not micro mechanics I was doing all my production with fkeys. making the workers with fkeys too. Missing a lot of Protoss knowledge.
max MMR 2090.
I dont think i can even keep B rank with all the things i mention above if i try to play Terran.
Thx to everyone that showed interest and watched the stream. See you!
