Recently I discovered/corrected a wrong belief about the CoachAI from a friend.
I'd like to know (and let SC1 community know) about common wrong beliefs (or myths) in the game in general, whether its spotted and corrected for most of the players or not.
Let's start with this belief that: * Workers have different speeds/accelerations and that what makes a microed Probe/Drone could kill a SCV and that all workers have the same range.
Is that correct?

even though shooting uphill or behind doodads has a reported 30% chance to hit, they actually have a 53.125% chance to hit. ranged units on equal footing have not a 100% chance to hit but actually a 99.6% chance to hit

All workers have the same movement speed. Drones and Probes have ranged attacks. SCVs are melee.
That's why Probes and Drones miss under Swarm but SCVs do not.
Drones and SCVs mine as melee. Probes mine at range. They can even sometimes "miss" the minerals during mining and have to start the cycle over again. I've seen it happen and it sucks major butt in a ranked game when you need your first wave of money to come in exactly on time and it doesn't haha.

I was always under the impression that although all workers have the same movement speed, probes accelerated the fastest, followed by drones and with scvs having the slowest acceleration. I also understood that this effected mining rate. Please correct me if I am wrong.
