Obviously the point was that you are forced to do certain things if you want access to others, not that content is available.

I think all but the most hardcore players don't have to worry about being able to get a few extra loot rolls from two dungeons on their alts. I guess we'll have to wait and see how much people can get away with barebones alts but I don't think it'll be too bad.

12k isn't so bad, i also had to do it at that cost because i placed a few points wrongly during the sleep deprivation of launch. It put me a point behind but that's 1 point.. soon it'll be 0.5 points behind and then 0.1 behind, pretty negligable. Two months from launch we'll be earning something like 14x AP.

Other than price gouging the shit out of healing potions on day 1, there's really no way you can make money as alch yet. Flasks are fucking time consuming to make and I don't think there'll be many buyers. Plus I need to supply the guild first. Which brings me to my major bitch topic so far:
Starlight Roses are retarded. They only spawn in Suramar. Your first rose gives you a quest that you have to go back to dal for, then you have to herb 25 of them, WITHOUT GETTING A ROSE, all you get is dust. Then you can finally herb them for real, but you only get about a 60% chance of getting ONE AND ONLY ONE, otherwise you get dust. The mobs they spawn only drop 3-4. All combat potions require 2 and flasks require 7 of these fuckers, and even rank 3 gathering only lets you get 2 of them at a time. There are no world quests to give you multiples and they're insanely rare off the bags you get from shoulder enchants, and even when you get them theres' 5-7.
All of which would be fine, IF they were the rare herb, BUT THEY'RE FUCKING NOT. Felwort is. God I hate what they did to Alchemy 
Let's not forget, to unlock flasks, you have to craft 10 of all 4 combat potions (so that's 80 Starlight Roses) and all those potions are CONSUMED by the quest...so you don't even get to keep them afterwards.

atleast its not the felslate ore selling for 100g a piece while leystone is like 5

Just incase someone here benefits from it:
Leather can quite easily be turned into obliterum through the forge, by crafting warhide jerkin or warhide pants roughly 400 leather -> obliterum
I see so many people selling their leather for less than 10g a piece on my realm and by turning it into obliterum each leather is worth atleast 20 or 25 for me, if not more
Crafting 815 belts/boots also gives me a way to spend all the blood of sargeras i was stocking up with nothing to do which means roughly 10 bloods = obliterum making my bloods worth 800~1000 gold each (and it's not like it's hard to get... i had like 400 that i didn't know what to do with)
I guess this also means that if you want to fiend the AH you could buy the cheap leather yourself But this was more meant for skinners who might actually be underselling their leather

You can easily use bloods as an enchanter. The best enchants require bloods.
Example, cloak enchants:
Word of agility is 150 agility for your cloak and requires no bloods.
Binding of agility is 200 agility for your cloak and requires 2 bloods at 3
You can also use bloods to craft relics or toys.

No, And I do believe Blizzard has also confirmed that if you do not have them unlocked you cannot get them as the dungeon for your keystone (since that would look you out for the rest of the week).
But imo you really should keep working on your nightfallen rep. A couple of 1 off questlines, the withered army every 3 days and the daily world quests isn't that much of a commitment.

Yeah nightfallen and Suaramar is a very important zone. I have done 3/11 chapters of the quests and can't seem to find anymore. I assume there isn't anymore for me? I should get honored tonight so that be good.

A lot of the chapters do not have breadcrumbs leading to them, nor do they give Nightfallen rep.
But they do unlock area's for world quests to spawn in.
Finding all the leylines does give some rep and gives you more Ancient mana from mobs.

Dont like this "grind" either from wow. But hey this is what blizzard does. Its not like i can look for another mmorph either since they all truly suck when you look at the combat mechanics, the feel behind it.
Btw, people seems to think you cant make stuff none-grindy but still end-game/content. It
wouldnt have to look like this.
And why cant i play 25BGS instead of grinding reputation for four factions so i can unlock world quests?
