I dont quite share the excitement. I liked the dungeons in the early phase of wod more. How good the raids are no idea yet. The Mistweaver I am playing was also more fun in wod. The main thing that stands out for this expansion is the focus on quests but I really dont care for those.
Btw just had the most annoying bug. For whatever reason I could not use my Thunder Focus Tea while in Violet Hold. The ability was simply greyed out. After I left the instance it instantly worked again but I had to play the whole dungeon without it.

That list was posted by the SimC devs and it's a super simple run of "how much damage will X do if hitting patchwerk for X minutes at a time". If you're aware of any major problems with the actions lists or buffs/abilities etc then the devs would love to hear them.
It's a community effort to get stuff near-perfect

What did you like about them?

Hmm, can a feral druid with Guardian affinity tank a leveling dungeon? Can a guardian druid with Feral affinity dps decently singeltarget? Just curious here.

glad you guys are enjoying the expansion.

I decided to say fuck it and buy Legion; I am not at all unhappy with my purchase thus far. I used my boost on a disc priest and have been loving the quest/relic building experience. Not sure what to expect once I hit max level but I should find out soon enough

From the leveling perspective. Its far better than WoD. And MoP.
Still, since it scales with your level, the world i was 10000% sure you would not need all zones to finish to 110. So i was very positive at first since playing alts meant alot of variation for you. But nope, not the case.
Why didnt they just throw in a bunch of no name quests there and maybe in a none-lore zone to. Nah didnt happen. Oh well.
The artifact feels cool. Some artifact weapon skills feel cool aswell, but only a few of them though. The pvp seems to have potential. But we will see. I heard for example elemental shaman stands no chance in 2v2. Already a big big negative if thats true.

You can ding 110 without touching the fourth zone, bonus objectives give a lot of exp and resources

Disc priest healing is one of the most fun things I have had in WoW in years, challenging enough but also rewarding enough.
Feels a bit weak in 5 mans but I am enjoying it a lot.

Just got 850 item lvl relic from world quest. And of course it is for my off spec lol. I swear this expansion is trying so hard to make me a dmg dealer.

mythics pretty hard at 810-815. healing is stressful as hell without stacking haste. these 2 second cast time heals when someone is about to die are stressful. i really ought to be playing WW probably since WW is really good for dungeons. my first mythic group, i was the only one willing to heal. MW can definitely handle it but some pulls are really tough. it sucks not having any mana potions too, which should be giving like +30% mana but i can't make any yet and havent seen any drop. i've geared up some more to 830 since my last mythic so im gonna try some more at higher gear level. still comes down to knowing the mechanics though so people who study guides and played beta are having a much easier time of it. as dps players get better at minimizing damage taken, and get higher dps, it'll make healing a lot easier though.
mythic+ still looking good but i feel like releasing 10 new dungeons at once is too much. they hadn't released one for years and they put 10 new ones with legion. over 40 new bosses to learn plus tricky trash pulls. idk why they prefer to drop so much new content simultaneously and then have looooong droughts. i'd much rather have 5 dungeons now and then have 5 more after the first two raids.

Did my first mythic just now and I love it! Was 809 with a guild group doing Eye of Azshara.
Bosses are tough at that ilevel and require people to do stuff. I will enjoy mythic +

edit: also they already are doing this a little bit. but i'd want them to do even more. i shouldnt really say 10 at once because it's not 10 at once. it's a little more in the direction i want it. but i'd want them to go more extreme and spread out dungeon content the same as they do raid content. go through multiple cycles of dungeon -> raid throughout an expansion rather than frontload all the dungeon content and then do raid raid raid

Legion has 20 raid bosses coming in the ~4 months plus a new special 5-man with like 8 bosses. They'll also likely add 2-3 more 5-mans between tier 2 and 3 or with tier 3 and some world content too
a couple less dungeons and one zone less might have been worth shipping 3-4 months earlier.. but i find it hard to disagree with blizzard's idea that the WOD ship had sunk and there was no point trying to balance or add content any more. Unsub for 6-9 months into this wasn't all that bad
