Apparently theres a bug in freehold where if you kill the Ludwig, the turtle mini-boss, in the regular mythic, then start the key without leaving/resetting the dungeon, he will not spawn during the run and instead the shark ogre comes immediately. Saves you a good 90-120 seconds or smth. Blizzard with the quality bugs again.

I have seen this for past week or so. Its pretty annoying. I hope it gets hotfixed and not fixed 'eventually'. Like watching some other people in keys and its just dumb to have to clear a bunch of stuff to help your M+ key. Also you can do it with the first boss as well by clearing one of the 2 enforcer packs before you start the key too. Another one I hope they fix sooner than later.

I mean the only way people would notice is if they cleared 0 for farming crafting mats and then happened to do a key without resetting.

They should also take a long and hard look at all of the top guilds including Method which killed G'huun once or twice, not even enough to get all of their roster Cutting Edge, and then abandoned the raid at 7/8m every week afterwards because they either don't want to bother with the G'huun comps or simply don't have them in split raid format. That includes the melee representation because melee being trash for the last three bosses (exception: lolsubrogue for zul) played a big part in that. It takes a pretty major failure for that to happen and for it to go all the way up to the literal world first guild is particularly telling of how broken it is.

The fifth ring of Azerite Traits is definitely coming in Tides of Vengeance. You’ll see it on new gear when Season 2 begins, on the same day the Battle of Dazar’alor Raid opens in January. At that time, the item levels of rewards from dungeons, PvP, emissaries, Warfronts, and everything else that drops Azerite gear will go up, and all of the new Azerite gear from those endgame sources will have a fifth ring of Azerite Traits.

Some time ago we made a hotfix to War Mode which enforces all War Mode shards that have both Alliance and Horde in them to have a stricter, more even ratio. We’ve been monitoring the results and so far we’ve noticed a significant improvement in “fair and balanced” shards. So much so that it’s safe to say that if you are Alliance, and you see Horde in the outdoor world in War Mode, you are a relatively even horde to alliance ratio shard. There are some rare exceptions, such as when a raid of 40 players enter a zone. It may take a bit for the “shard manager” to compensate and balance the shard.
We do have some plans in store in Tides of Vengeance (Patch 8.1) to entice the underrepresented faction with greater rewards to increase participation and create more active Horde/Allianced mixed War Mode shards. The intent of those rewards is not to give the underrepresented faction some “compensation” for being outnumbered in a War Mode shard (since that really can’t happen anymore).
We're also looking forward to what you all think about the Incursions in War Mode for 8.1, since it brings Horde and Alliance to the same location which should create some pretty fun skirmishes.
All in all the game should be in a much better place for 8.1.
Honestly if it were to just revert everything that happened in BFA and relaunch as 8.1 in January or Feb (with more class improvements) i'd be 110% in favor of that. It would be good to just forget the whole clusterfuck and move on.

Spheres are now stupid annoying, i went from never having to deal with them to having like 6 spawn on top of me during that boss, all at big cd setup time of course

Got Zul down tonight. Also some melee couldn't show last minute so I got in on our Fetid kill as well, so I'm 6/8 along with the rest of the guild now. Was supposed to sit fetid for at least 1-2 more weeks since we were slowly rotating new people in so I'm happy about that.
We had like 30 minutes on Mythrax, and it felt so good being melee lmao.

Lucky you missed out on all the melee orb shenanigans. The fight should be much easier though compared to previously since you can better position your orbs in areas you do not need for phase 2.

In Mythic+, Explosives now have 50% less health, and will no longer spawn from crowd controlled enemies. We're also working on a number of nerfs to specific dungeon creatures and mechanics.

Makes sense, has been a completely dead week, lvl alts and shit. Teeming explosive is ptless to push keys on as a pugger.

They also made changes to other M+ things, such as both Tol Dagor and Underrot getting +3 minutes to their timer. Some mobs abilities getting halved in damage and slow recasting of abilities.
I suppose these are better late than never, but seems weird to be so far along to finally be making some of these changes.

Their internals stats must be pretty harsh to see such big nerfs happen to so many dungeons.
