What's the best way to do Iron Dwarf, Medium Rare as paladin or druid? My druid just instakills everything, even without gear!

might try to get a ~80-85 player to tank / heal so you get healing aggro.
Nothing is impossible, only some things for some people.

3 things:

1) You don't have to do it in one pull.
2) If you kill them within about .5 sec of the flame breath going on, it counts. It doesn't have to get the killing blow.
3) Go resto/holy and just heal yourself forever.

I ran all of HFC LFR this week on my alt and didn't see 1 piece of loot despite using a bonus roll on a boss that dropped a weapon.

Ring upgrades for 1250 valor just popped up on live servers - that means you can get all 20 upgrades in 5-10 weeks (depending on dedication) rather than 20

I think it's pretty good, but the initial steps of getting the ring take too long. Previously, it took 2 months to get a half power ring and then 20 weeks to upgrade it - now it takes 2 months to get and 5-10 weeks to upgrade it (5 if you do all dungeons, weekly quest, all lfr etc every week)

It's just really important so that 3-4 month time lag after having a char/spec at max level hurts a lot.

You can't buy them without legendary tier ring and the valor cap allows you to get 3 so you can stockpile a bit, just not much

Seems like a non-issue at this point. Most people who are starting from scratch probably aren't looking to raid competitively and/or have friends who will carry them.

I mean, it's not good that there's a mechanic in the game which makes it harder to catch up with your friends, but WoD is coasting towards its end and the number of people for whom that is relevant is dropping precipitously.

Seems like a non-issue at this point. Most people who are starting from scratch probably aren't looking to raid competitively and/or have friends who will carry them.


A lot of our DPS were subpar or even useless for some fights due to class balance and/or ring ilvl

Several more would have rerolled already to more suitable specs if not for the 3-4 month mandatory catch-up period after reaching max level - it's less now, but about 10 weeks to be properly functional as a DPS when you can otherwise be geared to 730+ in two resets is annoying.

We've less than halfway through HFC's life cycle. It's going to continue to be annoying i'm sure, though less with changes like this

Rerolls for mythic anything. The highest difficulty content is the only place where it really has an impact, 95% of the playerbase just wants the ability to reroll because it's more fun to play more than 1 character or 1 spec if you're keeping the same content for a year+

Not saying it doesn't suck in that instance, but I don't think Mythic rerolls are close to "most people". It's bad design but at this point the number of people it affects is too small for Blizzard to care.

Six and a half months is well over the hill for a content patch. You can argue that HFC/6.2's "life cycle" spans all the way to Legion, but player interest won't stretch that far. Things are dying down.

The problem is that there's no realistic catchup on the ring quest. You can save like a week for 2 weeks of farming apexis crystals, but that really doesn't do all too much. The ring is too fucking powerful not to have.

The last upgrade step taking 6 weeks to unlock the ring at 55% power is the majority of the time spent
