The grinds tend to be shorter, there is matchmaking for dungeons and raids (at reduced difficulty) so you dont spend 2 hours standing in IF/OG looking for a group. You just queue up and do something else while waiting. If you want to play for 1-2 hours here and there you definitely can. While it is more casual in a sense and you can play the game decently while playing much less than in vanilla the general level of play is also way higher. So if you are new or played some vanilla you might struggle at first to keep up. Biggest difference is probably that there is much less downtime compared to vanilla. Much less waiting around, much less running from x to y which obviously saves a lot of time.

Lol dungeon bosses are getting smarter man, that was a worthy combo. I cringed a little at running into the hole but then laughed at THAT DISCONNECT BUG BLIZZARD PLEASE :D

got a titanforged 880 relic out of that raid, raised my weapon's ilvl by 12 alone.

Looks like i did underestimate some of these guys too, big range of skill in the guild (and more trials than actual raiders) but with the bottom quarter of them cut it was pretty clean

Took us a good 2hours for the first boss, and right now we're doing pretty bad on Dragons, which are pretty easy ![]()

It really is more about how effective your team is. I pubbed 3/7 heroic, but our other raid team wiped on ursoc all night because of tanking issues. Also a lot of people aren't at the ilevel you probably want yet (850-860ish) for starting heroic. Next week it will be smoother dont worry!

Also a lot of people aren't at the ilevel you probably want yet (850-860ish) for starting heroic Normal drops 850 and preraid gearing cliffs off at 840-845 with small gains afterwards. I think 840-850 is generally ok for doing HC but you'll likely be high 850's by the time xavius dies Couldn't find this info - how much speed rating does it take for 1% speed? I got a chest earlier same ilvl as my previous (~850) with mastery and a speed tertiary - the mastery gives ~3% runspeed but my stat addon says that the speed is making that +3% into +9% runspeed overall. Not quite sure that i believe that (~100 speed for 1% runspeed?) but the speed difference is quite visible, i'm happy to have it. Having 130% runspeed via some mastery and speed is night and day vs ~107% with none, slight DPS losses be damned (if they even really exist any more with the huge glaive nerfs devaluing haste/versa)

Never been this fast in progression in my guild before. Get to start miffics on first available reset wtf. ur playing disc right, are you running schism in raids or castagation? also do you run schism in mythic+? I feel like its too mana intensie in raids but I might try it out in mythic+(also mana intensive but more time to drink and more dpssssss Lastly have you guys experimented with the single target disc healer on Ursoc? iirc Disc healers can be specced to be a monster for Ursoc single target(although disc is good at the aoe portion too.)

Those 2 vary greatly for me since i dont know dps that can do 300k consistently, so i just enter random public runs and they are often even +7 but always fail because dps way too low.

I assume completed (including not on time) since the Mythic Dungeon tab of the LFG window shows the completed as Weekly best even if you missed the timer. And it would be weird if you complete a 5 Mythic with +2 in time. get a 7 and fail while you could have made a 6.

Nope, you cant skip flightpaths but the new expansions are a lot compactor (less empty space) so your not flying for 30min from 1 end of Kalimdor to the other.
