Also interesting to see them backpedal so hard on the Glaive Throw nerf. It's a nerf still but not nearly as severe as before, which makes me think it will still be the best talent choices and part of the single target rotation, which is still lame. But I could be wrong.
Yeah, the nerf was going to be nearly 6x bigger than it actually turned out to be. I don't like the spell that much but i guess they want the DOT to be relevant single-target without reworking it at the moment to hit for asymmetric damage (full dmg to first target, less to secondary/third etc) - the legendary actually buffs damage to the second and third target, which is the opposite of that.
DH single target with no glaive toss is more one dimensional as you're spamming builder and hitting a spender that does medium damage with no cooldown for ~80% of your actions instead of ~66%.
Momentum and its interactions do add a fair bit of depth and skill but throw glaive is a part of that

Suuuuper hyped to try out the Paladin damage buffs tonight. It wasn't too noticeable in my leveling so far, but still looking forward to smashing faces with the Ashbringer nonetheless.

My 846 frost DK did 235k ST with no consumables/flask on a 3.5 minute fight (raid finder nyth, 97% dps uptime). I'm pretty happy with that. Secondary stats on that character aren't nearly optimal and only 17 artifact traits. 235k would be #11 in the world Heroic Ursoc from last patch for frost DK's. So yeah, those buffs really pack a punch.

no idea never done before. im not even sure what aura to check for. the entry is gone from my parsing addon in any case. but even if it was boosted +15% then frost dk is still hitting over 200k ST in dungeon gear without consumable and i think that's good enough

You do however get a stacking dmg bonus every time you wipe.

They closed them again but a bunch of people killed 3 lfr bosses and got into mythic

Those of you on US, was your weekly mythic+ chest ilvl based on the highest mythic+ dungeon that you completed or the highest level mythic+ dungeon that you completed within the timer?
Did +8 within timer this week and did a +10, but there was no way that we could make it within timer. It's technically doable but it was quite the adventure in 855-860 gear!
EU affixes were teeming, skitterish and the one that buffs trash damage/hp at level 10.
That means a lot more trash in some pulls, trash randomly resets aggro and all trash does 2.8x regular damage while having 2.4x regular HP. (level 10 is 200% and 200%, but this is multiplied to 280% damage and 240% health if you get the third affix affecting trash)
The bosses were doable but some of those trash pulls would have you CC-ing two mobs, kiting and triple-AOE stunning the rest and still having people drop dead instantly - there are a lot of mythic mechanics that will quite suddenly do lethal damage when they're scaled to 2.8x damage as well.. Now go clear a 5-boss dungeon in 35 minutes with 5 seconds removed for every death and a couple of bugs resulting in 3-6 disconnects in that time 
In terms of difficulty i would consider mythic 7, 8, 9 to be comparable with heroic nightmare and 10 to be harder so the ilvl reward is not all that inappropriate. The main thing that i'm a little concerned for is that the loot is technically unlimited while raid loot is locked fairly hard to weekly resets (with the exception of split runs which need their own essay)

Also very interested to do mythic+ more now that mythic 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10+ will reward chests of appropriate levels instead of a single level 4 chest. The items in them (from completing a 5-10) even said mythic 4, so i suspect that it may have been copy/pasted over and any intricacies like an increased chance at legendary items from higher mythic+ levels may not have been ingame.
We got 0 legendary drops for 3 weeks and then 3 legendary drops in the fourth week when mythic+ and raids opened; all of them came from mythic+ chests.
When i killed three bosses in LFR earlier there were 2 legendary drops in the raid, we've also seen one or two in nightmare normal/heroic first clear - those were of course between a whole raid of like 20-40 people.

Ugh, I need to get more people in ym guild motivated for mythic+. Most are old school raider that don't seem to understand you can get better gear from that than raiding. I managed a +5 this week but that's about it.
Probably need to find a decent tank for it too, I can tank but WW is SO much better for a mythic+ group than playing Brewmaster. Not even close.

Mythic+ is going to be the shit to get gear because the amount you can do is pretty much only limited to the keystones that you have/can aquire, shit is going to get geared real fast.
random note, can you get recipes from bosses in LFR? if I can get ursoc rank 2 drop from LFR(if its open) then I can get rank3 ursoc versa rune for the tanks.
