Best way for no-cd starcraft?

My friend keeps losing his cd and i told him i'd figure out to just put it on his comp so he wouldn't need it. I am unsure what the best way is. I've heard of something called "Daemon tools", in the past. I would rather not have to install some other programs in order to do it.

I can use my cd to get the install.exe, but what then?

BWLauncher has a built-in No-CD.

BWLauncher is definitely the best. Keeping a 700MB image file on your computer is just a waste.

Wait how exactly does that work? I don't have to put the install.exe file on the comp but it still works?

And where can i get this BWLauncher. Just googled it > can't find a link

bwlauncher needs to be updated every time a new patch comes out

the no-cd crack from www.monikon.prv.pl has worked with every version since 1.09 without any update needed
there is a "small" install.exe on this website, which is like 25mb or something - the disadvantage is the lack of music tho

also if you're talking about putting the actual CD image onto the computer, I believe daemon tools would work (although never used it). Alcohol 120% is also really good (and lets you mount images on virtual drives).

I use Alcohol 120%
k, it's 700MB of HD space, but it's sooooo much easier when a patch comes.

Hi all. I have tries both alcohol 120% and d-tools... Nothing worked for me

I´ve tried to burn a bw-cd , still the same. Always comes the same error: Your starcraft CD may not be in the cd-rom. I have deleted the Bw-launcher, reinstalled sc,etc. nothing helped... When I downloaded the newest bwlauncher, it didnt have a no-cd tab, just enable sc-extension for 1.14. It doesnt launch the game. I have a crack(although I cannot play with my cd), but i prefer the old good BWlauncher. Can anyone help me ? Thank you

p.s. After deleting bwlauncher and starcraft, I deleted ALL the registry entries as well. Then tried to install everything again.
