Russia taking Finland and Sweden would be a complete nightmare for everyone bordering Sweden and Finland. Similar to China keeping NK as a buffer, if Sweden and Finland were in any danger, European countries would fight hard to make sure that barrier never fell. | ||

I agree that they have similar chance of being defended, but defending against a nuclear country comes with major risks. The louder non-interventionists are, the less likely a defense will be as well. This is part of why I believe psychological defense against invasion is incredibly important. | ||
