I don't enjoy listening to what they have to say. Though considering that people here like John Oliver there might be more to it than that. No, I'm not kidding you, and I'm pretty sure what I said is clearly true: that they are to the left of most of this forum? Not sure what sparked that reaction. As for their irrationality, I don't really see it demonstrated as much as I see it asserted. In that case all you really need to know is that the people here just don't find TYT to be to their liking and prefer to watch something else. Simple as that.

I'll be working through the night and I don't think I'll be very available to watch this election develop. Let's just hope for a nice, clean, not-rigged result so I can go to bed on time after finding out who won.

Hosting a party at my place for the results. This is going to be awesome.

I always imagine things like this are really weird when everyone's candidate lost.
Edit: In my doomsday scenario of Clinton losing Florida, NC and Nevada, it all comes down to Michigan. I think as long as there isn't massive voter suppression, Clinton can win there.

Well that's pretty weak following a "you're the same as a Fox News watcher", but fine, let's go with that.

That path closed when the Nevada early vote numbers made both sides pretty sure she has won that. His new path involves flipping Pennsylvania or Michigan

Wouldn't be able to stop myself from posting a Jonestown picture titled "Kwizach's party after Trump won" if he wins. Regardless of what happens, it's going to be 4 looong years.

Don't disappoint, America, we're watching I'm sure it being cold as fuck is their primary concern over violence. It's not that cold today, and Michigan isn't unsafe for Hillary. Caught some report on twitter that said record turnout for middle or working class white folks right in the demographic target of Trump... Which is not necessarily indicative of anything though. My guess is that those populations aren't nearly as pro-Trump as some believe; besides, unless these "working class" folk are taking off work, most haven't had the chance to vote yet. It is when you're looking at the temps from Florida We actually can have a climate quite similar to Florida in the summer due to being sandwiched between two lakes, but yes, there's a big difference. I don't know how they live with that humidity though. Plus I like having snow and all the seasons. The miraculous gift of modern HVAC. Also we notice it less than visitors like we notice the cold more severely than people who regularly experience it.

clinton is not about gradualism, but possibilism, realism or good policy-ism.
if you leftists have some actual policy proposals that are not counterproductive or severely damaging to national interest in other areas, they'll get a hearing.
balkanization of media into self selected, ideologically closed clusters lead to bad policy perspectives. refusal to consider possibility that your candidate has terrible policy ideas has been persistent problem for large swath of activist left.

I'm not gonna lie, I looked up "Hillary electable" memes to be a jerk in case Trump pulls out the win. I found a "Wall Street HATES him" ad parodies of Bernie Sanders and had a good laugh out of it.

They are all against the reform by inches philosophy, they want a muscular democratic party, they want to beat republican ideas into submission. FFS a couple weeks ago they advocated for voter suppression and gerrymandering in democratic areas.

it's literally the end of the election season and still think you dont have a good grasp of the us political spectrum and what constitutes mainstream left/right here. it skews quite a bit farther right than in the EU - KwarK is a conservative in the UK but is pretty center left here. so please refrain on commenting on stuff you're blatantly wrong about.

I have a good grasp of that... And I maintain that TYT is to the left of most of this forum, which is not related to where this forum is on the american political scale (mostly to its left). Seriously I don't understand how this could be in any way controversial? TYT was full Bernie Sanders. You were mostly pro Clinton. Bernie Sanders is to the left of Clinton.
