This is going to be awesome. Nice, I'm just gonna hole up with my girlfriend and watch it all go down in private. Otherwise, I might get whipped up into a frenzy should Clinton lose and join a posse of couch burners. What are you from Michigan State? Finishing up my last year of law school there, though I'm a Buckeye through and through. In either case, I know couch burning well You crazy kids and your pyromania fueled celebrations.
I'm calling it a day for work. I can't concentrate. Even if it's just gonna be listening to the media say the same things for the next 8 hours while playing Starcraft.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been more exit polling data reported. I thought that there were several outfits that were going to be issuing reports early and often.

How is the legal situation in the US concerning polling during elections? Here in Germany all polling is outlawed until the polling stations close.

NPR said this morning that some of the states with early voting diminished the value of exit polling. I don't know about the legality, but there are guidelines for journalist that most of the major outlets follow.

There's a total quarantine on (real) exit poll data until 5 p.m. At least according to Harry Enten.

The only thing going on is Trump is alleging again that the whole election is rigged against him.

That's excellent. It's always disappointing how many people choose not to exercise the right they were given.

It surpassed the 2012 voter turnout by 11:15am? Thats incredible.

Speaking of which I've received 3 phone calls from in state and one just now from D.C. in the last three hours asking how I voted. Florida life.

Actually, I need to add a caveat - looks like total active registered voters declined quite a bit from 1.8m to 1.5m (no idea why). So the absolute number is 880k right now vs. a bit over 1m, so turnout as a % is higher but not as an absolute (though it's quite possible that the latter figure will grow by a decent bit).
