Why is it good for the market if Hillary wins, and bad if Trump does? Hillary is good for the market because it represents big business rather than the economy as a whole. The companies that stand to gain the most from a Hillary presidency are the ones that already have her in their pockets, which also overlaps a lot with the S&P 1000. Trump, on the other hand, hasn't been as broad a focus of corporate investment.

Caught some report on twitter that said record turnout for middle or working class white folks right in the demographic target of Trump... Which is not necessarily indicative of anything though.

This forum leans pretty strongly left by American standards. TYT is a bunch of not very impressive partisans who are just as biased and irrational as Fox News. I don't enjoy listening to what they have to say. Though considering that people here like John Oliver there might be more to it than that.

My guess is that those populations aren't nearly as pro-Trump as some believe; besides, unless these "working class" folk are taking off work, most haven't had the chance to vote yet. No, I'm not kidding you, and I'm pretty sure what I said is clearly true: that they are to the left of most of this forum? Not sure what sparked that reaction. As for their irrationality, I don't really see it demonstrated as much as I see it asserted.

I don't know how they live with that humidity though. Plus I like having snow and all the seasons.
