For the first debate, Trump didn't really land many hits on Hillary and seemed like a fool trying to land punches at points.
This round, Trump landed them.
Only difference.

Rigging the election is fucked up - I'm sure it happens every election, but this election, it was a serious case. So you would side with someone whose policy stances don't align at all with your preferred candidate over someone whose policy does somewhat? Seems rather childish.

Can any mods see who voted, i am just curious. Not the names but like if it is a bunch of bots just spamming the polls

It looks like aside from the standard doomsaying nitpicking of things Trump said from the left, and complaints about moderation from the right, nothing really interesting happened.

Whereas Farage has never won a seat in the Houses of Parliament. What exactly has he even done? I was under the impression he did a lot to get Brexit to pass Yes, he campaigned for decades against his own job that Kwark thinks is less meaningful than the home parliament. That I think? I'm not the only one who thinks MEPs are less important than MPs to British politics. I know it's not your country so you don't know how stupid you sound when you imply otherwise but you sound pretty fucking stupid.

I'd disagree on the locker room banter spin. I still think a lot of people don't find that kind of talk acceptable even "just between guys" (because let's be real, that's what locker room means because shockingly women also use locker rooms). It's basically just saying "boys will be boys." Plus he spent so much time awkwardly pivoting to unrelated stuff.

I forgot this was the second time he did it. I keep forgetting that Trump keeps promising to imprison her, even though that is something the president cant do.

There is no world in which he "effectively spun" that tape story.
"Locker room banter" is a horrific answer to an explicit tape that records you describing sexually assaulting a woman.

I think this was more of a smart move by Hillary than anything. If she goes too hard on Trump for the tapes then she risks either appearing too negative or runs the risk that the words she used could be applied to Bill.
By saying that American should make up their own minds about it while also mentioning the context of the tapes among our culture and other Trump scandals she's able to pin the tapes on Trump without giving anything that could be used against her later.
When you're up to an 80+% chance of winning (before the polls reflect the tapes being released) you don't make risky plays.

I kind of want to take back my vote for "Trump won" after seeing post-debate polls and seeing betting markets revert to almost pre-debate status.
I also initially thought Obama won debate 1 vs Romney so I just don't have a good instinct for this.
Hillary won, at best it was a tie for Trump.

The best you can do is convince people who actively seek to give you the benefit of the doubt or to forgive you, and Trump did that well. Compare to Romney who fumbled over 47 percent badly enough that, instead of instantly apologizing for a bad remark, he went with it for a while and turned it into the remark that defines him as a candidate.

I honestly don't understand the TL poll, is this legitimately different people voting? It looks like the drudge report

Someone obviously botted it or linked it externally
This is why we can't have nice things

Next round, Trump better be ready to land on any possible biased media about how they just glanced over the Clintons' female victims while focusing on for whole 10 minutes on Trump's speech.
He'll then need to hit her again with how Clinton won because of Superdelegates.
Later he'll just need to expand on his tax system, how will he deal with foreign relationship and making sure that America can stop trade loss, how will he rebuild cities/towns reconstruction.
And then its Trump Presidente 2016.
