The Donald could have gotten a better one, after all he's worked with the Iranians before... Trump’s organization did business with Iranian bank later linked to terrorism
Donald Trump’s real estate organization rented New York office space from 1998 to 2003 to an Iranian bank that U.S. authorities have linked to terrorist groups and Iran’s nuclear program.
Trump inherited Bank Melli, one of Iran’s largest state-controlled banks, as a tenant when he purchased the General Motors Building on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, according to public records reviewed by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and the Center for Public Integrity. The Trump Organization kept the bank on as a tenant for four more years after the U.S. Treasury Department designated Bank Melli in 1999 as being controlled by the Iranian government.
U.S. officials later alleged that Bank Melli had been used to obtain sensitive materials for Iran’s nuclear program. U.S. authorities also alleged that the bank had been used between 2002 and 2006 to funnel money to a unit of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard that has sponsored terrorist attacks — a period that overlapped with the time the bank rented office space from Trump.
The Trump Organization’s dealings with the Iranian bank shed more light on Trump’s wide-ranging business interests, which sometimes stand at odds with his blunt declarations on the campaign trail. Trump has denounced Iran as a “big enemy,” blasted Hillary Clinton for not taking a harder line against the Iranian regime and charged that donations from foreign governments to the Clinton Foundation amounted to evidence of corruption. His five-year stint as Bank Melli’s landlord provides an example of the Trump Organization itself doing business with a government hostile to the United States.
“It’s a pretty hypocritical position to take,” said Richard Nephew, who served from 2013 to 2015 as principal deputy coordinator of sanctions policy at the U.S. State Department and spent nearly a decade working on Iran sanctions in the administrations of George W. Bush and Barack Obama. “It suggests that his principles are pretty flexible when it comes to him getting paid.”
Source What I'm not seeing in that article is the prohibition on Bank Melli doing business, or having any presence, in the US while it was Trump's tenant. Keep flinging that poo! Some of it is bound to stick eventually.
The article says there was a US embargo on doing business with Iran, which included rent payments, but if Bank Melli had gotten a special exemption that would have made it legal. But it is not known whether they did.

Russia has suspended an agreement with the US on the disposal of surplus weapons-grade plutonium, the latest sign of worsening bilateral relations. In a decree, President Vladimir Putin accused the US of creating "a threat to strategic stability, as a result of unfriendly actions" towards Russia. Moscow also set pre-conditions for the US for the deal to be resumed. Under the 2000 deal, each side is supposed to get rid of 34 tonnes of plutonium by burning it in reactors. It is part of cuts to nuclear forces. The US state department said the combined 68 tonnes of plutonium was "enough material for approximately 17,000 nuclear weapons". Both sides had reconfirmed the deal in 2010. In Monday's decree (in Russian), President Putin said Russia had to take "urgent measures to defend the security of the Russian Federation". In April, Mr Putin said the US was failing to fulfil its obligations to destroy plutonium. Instead, he argued, the US reprocessing method allowed plutonium to be extracted and used again in nuclear weapons. Both sides had agreed to build special facilities for disposing of the surplus plutonium. "We fulfilled our duties, we built that enterprise. But our American partners did not," Mr Putin said. The US rejected that claim, insisting that its disposal method did not violate the agreement. Also on Monday, President Putin submitted a bill (in Russian) to parliament setting a series of pre-conditions for the US for the agreement to be resumed, including: - reduction of US military infrastructure and troops in countries that joined Nato after 1 September 2000
- lifting of all US sanctions against Russia and compensation for the damage they have caused

Sounds like an excellent time for a candidate with a vested financial interest in having the Russian sanctions lifted to send a FP advisor to Russia to talk with government officials about the possibility of lifting them. That's the beginnings of a great deal - maybe Russia will offer such generous concessions as ceasing to bomb Syria aide workers and continuing with a 2000 agreement on nukes.

I have never done that at work, and certainly wouldn't do it towards female contestants on my game show.
Can you really not tell the difference doing it while at work on show in which the women are meant impress you with their business credentials but you're just talking about which you'd like to fuck and me casually mentioning that, given the chance and a pass from the wife, I'd fuck Natalie Dormer?

also looks like a pretty desperate/ long-shot move from putin Obviously it is. The deal itself is meaningless and a pure 'good will to the world' show for both sides. 'Oh no, after we destroyed this we will only be able to destroy the world 5625 times instead of 5832'.
Stopping the deal is completely pointless and just pure propaganda. I expect the White House reaction to be a shrug and ignore.

also looks like a pretty desperate/ long-shot move from putin This is Putin's statement from April about the plutonium deal mentioned in the BBC article
The other circumstance is that back in the early 2000s, the Americans and we agreed on destroying weapons-grade plutonium. This agreement covered surplus weapons-grade plutonium produced at US enterprises and at ours. This is the highly enriched fissile material that is used to make nuclear weapons. Each side had 34 tonnes. We signed this agreement and settled on the procedures for the material’s destruction, agreed that this would be done on an industrial basis, which required the construction of special facilities. Russia fulfilled its obligations in this regard and built these facilities, but our American partners did not.
Moreover, only recently, they announced that they plan to dispose of their accumulated highly enriched nuclear fuel by using a method other than what we agreed on when we signed the corresponding agreement, but by diluting and storing it in certain containers. This means that they preserve what is known as the breakout potential, in other words it can be retrieved, reprocessed and converted into weapons-grade plutonium again. This is not what we agreed on. Now we will have to think about what to do about this and how to respond to this. By all indications, this will also be an irritant, which will provoke a corresponding reaction and a search for new offshores. However, our partners should understand that jokes aside, all their efforts to promote information products aimed against Russia are one thing, but serious issues, especially with regard to nuclear arms, are quite a different matter and one should be able to meet one’s obligations.

The San Diego Union-Tribune, long a bastion of conservatism in the West, broke a 148-year-long streak of endorsing Republicans for president and told its readers on Friday to vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump.
Well, they can get in line. Conservative newspaper after conservative newspaper broke tradition in September by endorsing Clinton — or, perhaps more appropriately, by telling their readers why they shouldn't vote for Trump.

At work? Not really. Certainly not in a typical 9-5/office job type setting. It's not like this is a construction or oil field job or something where its 99.999% guys who will talk about dumps and dick jokes. Call me crazy but I don't actually care about anyone's opinion of who they find attractive or what they find attractive about them least of all coworkers.

Typical American backhandedness if that's true. Wasn't that also the deal where Russia was given funds to build the plants? If that's the case, they were probably also given guidelines on how to build the plants, etc... How fortunate that the US could decide for themselves what to do with it.

Anyone care to make any guesses as to what the Assange bomb drop is gonna be? My instinct tells me it will involve Clinton cooperating militarily with a group that many people would consider a very bad thing. Either that or an open willingness to take civilian lives for some greater good. I think it will definitely be with regards to her time as SoS. I still can't decide if I expect it to be something as critical and damaging as he says, though. I certainly think it is possible that this election goes right back to tied or even Trump favored.
