Whatever it is I'm gonna expect full Clinton goggles on everyone who posts here, while flinging shit back at trump. Then kwark can make another long post about how trump supporters are just delusional and deplorable or some shit.

Well he dropped a mental evaluation... of himself. He just comes across as a whiny little bitch tbh. He wants to be a martyr without the entire martyr part.

Or, alternatively, we can recognize that Clinton is a flawed candidate without forcing ourselves into crazy leaps of faith like "well sure, Trump has been proven to discriminate against black people and sure, since then he's done and said an unbroken string of things which can be seen as racist but really unless you've sat down with him and had a talk about the negros who can really say if he's a racist". But nice false equivalency. Good job.

Clinton could be Dukakis and I'd still vote for her over Trump.

Was listening to a piece where Sam Harris (yeah yeah) was going in on Trump and said he would vote for an American citizen taken completely at random over Trump. With how dumb, lazy and misinformed the general public is he'd still take that chance and I gotta say I wholeheartedly agree.

There are a lot of basic instincts that people are expected to suppress while they are at work. I don't think instinct is an acceptable defense of this behavior.

However I do not. I think that Trump's disrespect for women cannot be excused simply by saying "he's a man, all men are sexist" any more than his discrimination against African Americans can be dismissed by saying "it was the 80s, we all did it". Men are not intrinsically shit. Trump is unusually shit. Don't dismiss his flaws by trying to project them onto the rest of us. You may be content to be deplorable, I am not.

I wonder if the purpose of these leaks is not so much to get Trump to win, but to damage Hillary's credibility once she actually takes office and lead to difficulty in pushing some of her less well-liked policies. Even the Trump fans in here would probably admit that he is not favored to win and really never was, and I'm not sure all this effort is merely for pushing an unlikely victory.

You only get that type of wiring in the brain through consist behaviour. Not all men have it. Some women also have it. It is not an excuse for displaying that kind of deplorable behaviour in a professional environment. It is a sign that one has serious faults that one needs to work on. Somehow, Trump doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to work on his personal shortcomings.
Just because some types of behaviour may have a biological origin, doesn't mean that you can just display it all over people.

You guys aren't actually mad at trumps "sexism", you are mad at him being Open about it. Which in a work environment is a legitimate reason, but outside its fair game.

Clearly there are certain lines that cannot be crossed and that there's going to be disagreement over where some lines are. And while I don't think that what Trump apparently said is appropriate, I also don't think that it is so far out of bounds as to be worthy of outrage.

It amazes me how quickly some “conservatives” can discard their ideal of personal responsibility when it comes to white dudes. But then switch right back to pushing for it comes to anyone who is not a white dude.

Most of them have been pretty willing to acknowledge that he has a sub-50% chance of winning, albeit in very indirect ways.

What we're mad about doesn't matter. What matters is what women care about and he's getting slaughtered there. At this point his sexism is very real and deep rooted. This is just another nail in the female vote coffin.

And I thought dredging up being a landlord to some Iranian bank was already scraping that clean.
