I'm just glad they are actually hitting each other. Maybe Sanders decided he actually wants to win. May be too late!
For americans.
For europeans, the whole election is like Kabarett. It's enjoyable to see hypocrisy galore.
But you're right. Trump is the cherry on top.

not really watching but the problem with debates is the short answer format designed for short attention span folks. it's just no good. hope they do something different.

Well that was a very important follow-up question.
I'm not taking sides here, but it certainly does seem like she gets pitched some questions that makes it easy for her to promote herself.

maybe because she has a record that's worth running on

That doesn't really make any sense.

She has a record and she is able to highlight parts of it as evidence of why she's good on issues

These questions are so stupid. It's so obvious, and this debate is retarded. Of course Hillary will sign a $15 bill. But she's willing to settle for $12 and not piss off the Republicans.
|
A $15 min wage in NY has the same buying power as $12 in some of the low COLA states

That still doesn't explain why she'd need to get questions pitched rather than letting Sanders respond. At least for my understanding of "debate".

Debates are a shitshow
I feel like Bernie got a long period of talking earlier on and Hillary hasn't gotten to talk as much, but we'll see how the time tallies come out at the end

Debates are a shitshow
On that we can agree on. That's why i'm watching them. :D
edit: republicans are considerably funnier though.

Sanders has zero composure. I feel like Clinton is physically exhausting him in a war of attrition.
|
Sanders seems petulant. But he always has been a bit.
|
There, again.
Sanders should be able to respond, yet he gets a loaded question with the remark "i'd like you to respond to that, but also, do you support drowning little kittens and stuff".
That's not debating, it's literally campaigning.
It can't be just a european understanding of how a debate should look like that makes it look so off.

Surprised Wolf followed up on that gun attack. Hillary totally ran and hid from it and pulled out her faux outrage like Sanders is some gun nut who helped sell billions of dollars of arms to nations like Saudi Arabia.

Voting against 5 times is pretty telling though, isn't it?
What in the world did he just refer to himself in 3rd person

For once I agree with Sanders (at least some version of him). What a dumb thing to be sued over.

Big score for Clinton being the first to call out institutional racism.

Yeah, she went superpredator on that one.
That being said, yeah. Good that someone says it how it is. The hypocrisy is still funny.

I can't believe the superpredator thing is still being brought up out of context
