Now he's got die hard supporters he's never had. Might of made things a nightmare for his middle managers at his properties though since most of the people who do the shit no one wants to for what he offers are the people he offended most. But that's the beauty of leveraging desperate people. Gawd Chris Christies face was priceless during the planned parenthood comments. I hope someone makes that a gif Surveys of high net worth individuals are showing that a lot of them are viewing the Trump brand with less favor. He's valuing it a 3.3B right now, which is wildly inflated in the first place. http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/01/donald-trump-2016-brand-business-213515

This isn't his first rodeo brand wise.

He probably means he wants to do good among black voters and is maligning the establishment for failing to bring them in.

Trump always talks like this, it has no ill intentions (and it shows when he says it), just gives a nice fuck you to the people who start taking offense to every little thing or potential slightly incorrect use of speech... This is the exact stuff he's trying to fight.

This isn't his first rodeo brand wise. Brand is an intangible asset which goes on the balance sheet (one of the 4 financial statements). Goodwill only appears in the case of an acquisition. You can estimate both values using various methodologies, but Trump doesn't really have any goodwill here. Property is entirely separate item-- it's a tangible asset which also goes on the balance sheet, and its subject to a depreciation schedule. You can adjust the depreciation schedule on various factors. Performance would be measured by revenue and income. Those go on the income statement, which is a different financial statement. If you want to remove goodwill, you take the impairment as a non-cash expense on your income statement, so i guess its nice from a tax perspective, but it still hurts because part of your balance sheet just went up in smoke. EDIT: actually I just checked, goodwill impairment isn't tax deductible.

lol, I have no delusions and would take either. But I do get tired of hearing about "Rubio!" from everyone when he's doing the worst of the 3. It's obnoxious.
