He loaned his campaign money so he isn't risking anything. He can just pay himself back with campaign donations whenever he wants. One could also argue that his presidential campaign has destroyed his brand which is a huge loss for him in long term profits though.

Trump is a pretty popular guy in New Jersey. I think Christie also had some historical ties with him. Also, Christie was probably also trying to get revenge for the establishment so clearly leaving him in the cold this cycle and looking for ANYWHERE else to turn.

Like Christie said it's a movement not a campaign, it doesn't end after the election regardless of how it goes. Trump is going to be rolling in deals from folks that want to get in good with the new Republican poobah. Trump dissed Christie with him standing behind him. My god the next debate will be embarrassing.

He hasn't damaged the brand he's just changed who it appeals too. It's not like he had universal appeal to start with. Now he's got die hard supporters he's never had. Might of made things a nightmare for his middle managers at his properties though since most of the people who do the shit no one wants to for what he offers are the people he offended most. But that's the beauty of leveraging desperate people. Gawd Chris Christies face was priceless during the planned parenthood comments. I hope someone makes that a gif On March 02 2016 11:48 oneofthem wrote: looking forward to sandernistas gleefully cheering on trump in the general Not gleefully as much as matter of factly, but it ain't over yet.

This is the evolution of the Tea Party. They - McCain, Romney, McConnell - kowtowed for easy social conservative votes and lost their party. Trump figured out how to appeal to the same emotions, better than Cruz.
