The number of things that went wrong and were bungled under his administration are boundless. And the general disrespect for the political process and law was boundless. 9/11, hurricane Katrina, War Iraq and ending with the real estate crash, the country was worse off and more dangerous when he took office after the Clinton years. And we are still paying for Bush’s mistakes. But all his buddies got rich, so there is that. I could get on this bandwagon but a lot of those things aren't his fault. Housing crisis is probably equal measures post dot Com bust plus banks not being allowed to not give sub prime morgages. 9/11 was a long time coming and Katrina was a bigger fuck up then bush could have engineered even if he tried. The wetlands not weakening tge hurricane as much as predicted, the levy not working as predicted, roads being knocked out, a government agency being shockingly inept, are all things that he couldn't have had a hand in. Idk what political process you are referring to but everyone seemed on board with Iraq the tsa and the Patriot act. Having a legitimate opposition to your policy keeps you honest and forces you to defend and fight for your policies. That's something bush never really had to do and Obama has been terrible at.

The only problem with them is the proliferation of them online and sort of rallying around each other. The internet brought us all together, including the terrible people. Just a general vibe to this but the end speech of the great dictator has a lot to say on it.

If they claim not to be US citizens, can they not be deported? I suppose that would be more work than it would be worth.

They know exactly how far to push the law before it will come down on them. Just think of them like those nightmare, abusive, stalker ex-boyfriends that always manages to stay just out of the laws reach. Edit: Also guns. They all have guns. We deal with them in NH, the land of guns and no law.

From the wikipedia page, they don't pay taxes, ignore laws, and their defense to being prosecuted is spamming bogus shit. Am i reading that correctly? Because in that case i don't see how that can be very popular, considering that it simply should lead to you going to prison really quickly, which should discourage other people from trying the same thing? My first guess would be guns and a willingness to use them to. You know like those militia's with the grazing.

Edit: and I will point out, that if there are violent incidents (or almost violent), they do make the news. Like the Bundy Ranch standoff. Thing is, that doesn't happen every day.
