Going through all this content is pretty crazy. There are literally tons of posts about this kid outright lying and scamming people. My sympathies go out to Crane for sure. He used the language barrier to gain an unfair advantage. Now if that is not shady then I do not know what is shady then.

Whoa these thinks are really quite damning. Some of this stuff is downright shameful and embarrassing, really. I find it very hard to believe that this time will be any different--this guy really is going to have a very, very difficult time talking himself out of this one. My heart goes out to Crane. :\

Whether he is still a scammer or not his reputation in eSports is shot... There's no recovering from what has happened. He tried to pick up a few players/teams prior to this that I know but I advised against it simply because of the immediate backlash (albeit, rightful backlash) that would happen if an announcement like this one would occur.

I've never heard of this guy so I can't comment (though this certainly sounds quite terrible).
I'm surprised that Crane went ahead and signed a contract he didn't understand with a company he didn't know anything about. I know most progamers are kids, but god damn, that's pretty damn stupid.

All in all this guy has a lot of explaining to do. I feel like with that bad of a history though, explanations are somewhat worthless, no matter how long & detailed they are. At some point you need to start actually walking the walk instead of just talking the talk.

Well, a quick search tells me that some people in the SC2 community, such as Holcan and cArn, have had dealings with this bloke before. It might be worth asking them whether he dealt with them fairly and what their opinions of him are, Kennigit.
