We are just trying to progress and right the past mistakes that have been made. If our sc2 players get "scammed" you will know it.
This will be the final time I post if you really want to know more intricate parts of Blight you can add me on skype(blackfoger). I don't mind if logs are posted but I can't keep circling back to each persons replies.

The thing is, blackfoger, with a history like yours, why are you still in this buisiness? The majority of community members here at TL seem to be saying that they do not want to trust you to fix anything. Why didnt you realize that you had too damaged a reputation to continue on in this buisiness? Your team is never going to get positive publicity without changing your name and getting proof of a reputable financial sponsor for your team. I honestly dont understand why you are still in this buisiness with a reputation damaged so badly, and so many plot holes for your current stories. The community doesnt trust you to clean up your act, this scene isn't for you. I am sure there are those that disagree with me and want to give you a chance, but I feel strongly that this is the majority opinion (by the thread, and information posted on you from other articles). I may be wrong, but I for one am not going to trust you to clean up your act, you've broken the esports communites trust several times before, you are not worth keeping around. /opinion
Not only is Blackfoger a scum, but he's a terrible liar. It's so transparent - I feel it's quite clear that the players don't know about the team's history at all...
He's made of the same essence as those who create "shock sites."

In several other communities we have slowly been gaining the trust back such as CSS, it is a slow and painful process but it's something that needs to be done. We need to pay back our debts as well. The majority of the TL members are bandwagoning and sending us death threats. We aren't leaving anytime soon just slowly rebuilding, we still have many supporting fans and ex-players that support us.
Hey guys. Nice to see so much love from the community, appreciate it. But to be honest, it would be very sweet if all of you could just stop spamming like this. I think people got the point: Blight have not had the greatest past but maybe you should open your eyes and see what blight can deliver for the future instead of just looking at the past. If any new issues comes up with blight I will make sure that all of you will know, but for now... Please leave us alone. Thank you.
PS. With that said, stop emailing our sponsors and telling them that blight is not to trust. I'd like to remain the sponsors we have and get new once as well so that blight have a fair chance to deliver me and the other players on the team what they promised. If you have any more problems, then contact blackfoger and speak with him 1v1 instead of being like a 5 years old saying "he said" in a thread like this.

Where is the money coming from? It is clear that Dolby, while associated is not providing any real $$. It is also clear that own3d is not giving nearly enough to support the situation presently infront of you, and another unannounced sponsor will be revealed at X day, which is also not promising endorsement of their product or your team.
It seems like you currently either have a bankroll, or you are accumulating more debt.
I personally do not believe you are rich, Why? You would have long past paid what you already have promised to previous dealings, because by not doing this you are weakening your position in acquiring new sponsors, players, staff, ect, as few people will want to deal with a company with your current history. If you were smart at least, you would know this to be true.
So....
Since I will give you credit for being smart, you must be acquiring more debt to run the team. If this is the case, it is likely you are only going to perpetuate your current situation, backed into a corner trying to fend off the trolls with a 10 foot pike.
Unless
You have mom and pop paying for the whole shebang.
Maybe you aren't so smart after-all. Or maybe you're just an incompetent rich kid, who is on his first steps to pissing away family fortune.

We have received a large amount on our website, email, twitter, and facebook. Some are death threats the others are threats against our sponsors and players. Another was a threat saying they know where I live and will enact harm on me.

We have a few private investors, I have personally put in 70k past few years if you look at the paypal logs that were posted up. We have never used any parents income. I have had bad dealings because I mismanaged our funds at the time or relied on a few non reliant private investors.

Sorry to say this... but you have no sponsors.
We had WASD keyboards but several people emailed them to drop us and it cost players like Rasmus some funding and gear. We are announcing another company shortly and Rasmus wrote that because we do not want to get dropped by another company because of people bandwagoning that we are going to scam players. Our players want our sponsors to stay and support them.

Here is one of your past "Private Investors" It seems like you might be the one who is unreliable. My personal opinion is that this guy seems "reliable" However we both know the world is not build on personal opinion but solid foundations, one which Blight clearly never had.
On September 07 04:44 zaxx Wrote: I respect that view. Sadly, that's what got me a little over 2,000 USD within two weeks investing into Blight. This was November of 2010. Two weeks after giving him a little of 2,000 USD (I can't remember the exact amount), he requested upwards of 5,000 USD for "various projects" to which he couldn't expand on. Upon that request and the refusal of more information as to where my 2K went in 1-2 weeks and where another 5K was going to go... I became more weary of his tactics. Within two weeks after that, I notified Blackfoger that I didn't think Blight was for me. The next month, I joined another fellow Blackfoger had scammed out of 1,500 USD (he had to bail Blackfoger out of stiffing a team at a LAN) and joined CheckSix Gaming where I became part equity owner with that said person.
So, if you are looking for innocence in Blackfoger, I am sad to say that you will be hard pressed to find any whatsoever. Even after I realized he didn't have very strong character, I still clang to hope that he would change and I actually tried to be the catalyst for that change. However, after watching my efforts fail in vain and to see him continue his immoral decision making, I finally gave up. I realize you are referring to his "sponsorships" and not his track record with colleagues or the rest of the eSports community, but his history should shed some light as to the exact nature of his values and ethics. For a person who is trying to contribute to the growth of eSports as a whole (quantity within the community, quality of the community, and corporate involvement within the industry), I believe people such as Blackfoger will only hinder our efforts to legitimize eSports as a notable industry.
If it makes you feel any better, Blackfoger, I don't care nearly enough to email your sponsors with either positive, neutral or negative feedback or send you any threats. How do you even come up with "The majority of the TL members are bandwagoning and sending us death threats."?
By "us" do you mean "me"?
What would TL have against your employees? We're supposed to care about what's in their best interests, no?
I like to think people can change, but your track record does indicate that the accusations confined to this thread aren't exactly baseless. You won't even give a straight answer on where your money comes from other than saying "private investors" and 70k from "myself".
Would it be more accurate to say "chump investors who won't make anything back on their investment until I pay for the mistakes of the past"?
By "myself" don't you mean "people I borrowed money from"?
A lot of us are just curious. Who do we support if we want to support your SC2 team? Aside from cheering for the players and watching their games, how can we help you help them by not helping you directly, since you apparently can't be trusted with money?

There hasn't been any issues if that's what you mean. The majority of the time we have been sponsoring Zomblerz. Here are a few links
A few Zomblerz articles are on ESEA website and a few threads there as well but you have to have premium to read them.
To shed some light on Blight.Zomblerz, the team used their own tag (zomblerz) for most of the competitions. ESEA prevented Zomblerz from using the Blight tag in matches because Blackfoger wouldn't pay the invite deposit per season (100 USD per player). In fact, this policy was enacted because of Blackfoger's Blight as it were; ESEA desired to take steps to legitimize eSports organizations within ESEA and weed out the "Blight's" within the community. WASD keyboards sponsored Zomberz with minimal representation to Blight. WASD provided "Zomberz" keyboards to the team last ESEA season without any representation of the Blight organization on the keyboard. It's also worthy to note that the team left Blight as soon as possible (which is why Blight lost the WASD sponsorship) and headed over to Frost Gaming which I encourage everyone to support.
While GoSu had nothing bad to say for political reasons, he stated that GoSu (ONE back then) received 55% of everything promised to them from Blackfoger. This figure is consistent with what he does with every other team he has ever taken under his banner.
If others don't want to take the communities advice that has experience with this person, that is completely fine. He may not screw you over in the near future, but evidence and history shows over many, many years that he repeats his fraudulent activities over and over again. I'd like to see my colleagues paid back which he owes before he starts to promise any misguided players anything else.
