That Copy paste method of installation does not allow Brood War to be updated. So at the moment I have tried using StarCraft Lite, which also cannot be updated, it does connect to private servers and most of them are empty. So to solve this connundrum I would ask if someone could upload the StarCraft 1.13f exe file onto RapidShare or something. Love, The Commander. | ||

Unfortunately Battlenet tells me it cannot determine the version of my StarCraft. | ||

The Copy paste thing it does work, but you have to add the SC:BW entry's on the registry, those who makes the patch go to the right direction and upadte the right files, I woudl explain it to you but..na, too much of a waste of time, just dl the patch and update manually I guess that should work. | ||

Use your vanilla cd. install starcraft. copy and paste ur friend's bw folder over it. connect to bnet and download. play. | ||
