If you don't want to be offended by things, stop having opinions.
If you want to have opinions, accept that people will offend you and avoid them. They wont change their ways for you.

Shit like this should not be repeated. Indeed. Orb got killed very hard for something really minor. It's quite terrible really.
Yeah, no need to take any more dumb n---- risks.

As a community, we have two options: One is to treat Starcraft as a random video game. The second is to make it as professional as possible and be proud of it. I actually don't play any other game anymore or follow any other community except Starcraft because I hoped that this community is different to others that I'd involved before moving into Starcraft.
I'm not disappointed in Destiny at all. Just disappointed in Quantic; because they're the one that makes decision whether to allow this to happen. I've always been a fan of Quantic and hope the don't fall down the path of a "personality and bm" team.[/ _________
Is that true?
May I ask, if anyone a confirmation/something on this?

Destiny gets far more leeway than anyone else in the community. When he was exclusively streaming and his team affiliation was ROOT (honestly more of a clan), there isn't an issue. It's his personal stream and he can do what he pleases. Now he's a member of a team attached to sponsorships there are going to be issues.
If you are offended by Destiny, don't support him. There's no point in trying to make a civilian arrest on the guy. As a community, our job is to bring these issues to light, not to fix them. Quantic will fix them if deemed necessary just like EG did with Orb.
Again, to be explicitly clear, do not support him if you find him offensive. There isn't really a case that the community is enabling this behavior because when it becomes too much, sponsors and team will react.

Destiny is one of those guys that makes me ashamed that he is held in such high regard. The argument that words dont hurt only the meaning of how they are said is a joke and he doesnt live in the real world. He lives in some fantasy land where everything is ok and he won't change. He doesn't care and never will.

Why the fuck are you people giving this yokel the time of day? We all know he's a fucking idiot, why can't we just leave it there? E-mail whichever fucking sponsors you like, but seriously, look at yourselves. This isn't the fucking suffragettes, its a sub 50 IQ moron making a stupid statement on the Internet. No one gives a fuck about Destiny. Jesus.

I don't give a shit about what players say, and I'm not the one who is claiming Player X or Y has done A or B. You can't make claims without backing it up with some evidence. My point is that his post is making an unsubstantiated claim in order to try and prove a point.

If you're bad you're gonna be called out for it. Losing to Terran allin as Zerg is quite possibly the most frustrating experience in this game, or maybe in any game at all. What you did was bad play and you totally should have expected it.
Also, you don't need to argue that it was a 'legitimate' strategy because obviously it is. But look what happened to TSLRain some time ago when he cheesed Nestea repeatedly in GSL. Did he get sh!t from everyone ? Yes. And it stuck with him for almost a year too.
I'm Asian and I never get offended by racist remarks on ladder. Just think of it as a typical offensive comment cuz it clearly doesnt mean to be racist at all. Thanks for admitting that. I'm making a list of people who are cool with it because they have no self-respect. I think I'm getting a taste for it. Trying to step into Destiny's shoes here.... Oh, and up yours, gook/chink/shamalamadingdong!! User was warned for this post
It isn't that they lack the self respect, it's that they understand the context of the usage (and apparently you don't).
Also, randomly insulting someone for disagreeing with you cannot be equated to raging at someone because they cheesed you on ladder.

That said, you people need a hobby. Destiny said some racist things on his stream. Destiny may or may not actually be racist. Are you forced to watch his stream when you come to TL? (No) How does this affect people who don't watch his stream? (It doesn't) If you have followed this community at all, you already knew that Destiny can be BM when he wants to be, and uses words like "nigger" and "gook." But all it took was a screenshot of it to send the community into an uproar?
I'm starting to think that NonY was right when he said we appreciate the drama more than we appreciate the game. The fact that there is always ~3,000 viewers for his stream, even though he is a low/mid-tier pro at best, is a testament to the fact that some people actually like his crude brand of humor. Let them have it.
Great post, I agree. Too bad nobody will read it. These kinds of threads are more about expressing ones own opinion rather than an actual discussion.

Don't post that here you edit that out right this second. Seriously please get that project out of this thread.

Who cares about what anyone says in a weak moment after a loss? I've heard (and perhaps said) things meaner still, and I don't let it bother me because of the context in which it is said.
