This year I got a refer in my university. Basically I passed 5 out of my 8 units and they told me I cant proceed to year 2 without passing 1 more unit. Thing is I failed 2 of 3 units because I gave my assignments later BUT i gave extenuating circumstances form but didnt get accepted in some units but in other units it did get accepted. So what I did is I appealed in order to let me proceed to level 2 because I know I can pass them units. Right now I am anxiously waiting for the appeal results.

Advice I want from you. The worst thing that could happen is the appeal not be accepted and I ll have to wait almost 1 year to give 2 exams and 1 assignment to pass to level 2. Problem is my parents tell me they dont wanna send me any money if this happens and that I should go back to Greece and forget about university. My thought was if the worst happens to stay in UK and find a job, lol then maybe my parents will see I am a grown up and maybe send me some money. Also if i go to classes for these 3 units its gonna be free and only 3 hours/week. So basically my parents tell me that if I am to spend their money for 1 year only to give 3 units do something in my life and dont be a lazy bum.

So what do u think
