Mr.Chae referred to him as "amateur prize money hunter" at least.

It isn't like NaNiwa has any respect for GOM or their tournaments. That's really ignorant, he's been wanting to play in Code S for a long time, there's an interview about it way back. He's the most passionate player right now, he doesn't like wasting time on interviews or any of the extra stuff. he just wants to play the game, it's like denying his right to.
Then maybe he shouldn't have disrespected GOM and the GSL by basically walking out and not giving a shit about their competition. Just saying. Seems like a stupid idea to me.

Thumbs down for that decision! Unprofessional.

Finally someone treats Nani like he treats other people. I am perfectly fine with this... from my fanboy point of view.

Not gonna stop watching GSL, but not gonna start paying for it either. Naniwa has enough skill to re-qualify and grind through code A, I'm sure we'll see him in the future. It sucks because he's one of the few protosses I actually enjoy watching, but at least Naniwa pointed out a major flaw in pool-play based tournaments. Hopefully they'll avoid them in the future.

The rush COULDN'T win. There's no point in that "what if", that just wasn't possible, that's why he's getting punished. It's a good thing.

You don't have to follow them, but you don't have to watch GSL. Have some respect for the culture of millions of people, yeah?
Clearly people haven't been around long enough... If this were Kespa you wouldn't see naniwa in korea again.
If gsl makes players fake their matches I could go as well go and watch wrestling..
Also I have no respect for culture if the term is just used as a cheap excuse for terrible behaviour. Happens way too often, even in western society.

Pretty scandalous behaviour from them - can you really imagine Manchester United getting banned from a tournament for fielding a weakened team in a game that doesn't matter? A better comparison would be if their players just stood still and let the other team score infinite goals. More like a team just walks out of the stadium as soon as the game starts. Actually, in PROFESSIONAL SPORTS, useless games aren't even played. If they are, they don't use their starting lines, instead they play their rookies and developing roster. Get your facts right people, stop living in a box. Yup, and that's also getting punished: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/feb/18/wolves-fined-manchester-united They punished them for 25,000 euros? LOL, you know how much money football players make? you can't relate that to this situation because in this case, they're taking the COMPLETELY OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT. Well his Code S seed is the only thing they can take away from him. Do you think he would ever pay a fine if they would've fined him? If a soccer team would come to a match and only stand still it and let the opponent score goals at will, how would the fans react? If a team came to a match and just walked out of the stadium, how would the fans react? Good comparison "Pay fine or don't play code S - your choice". Yes. Yes I think he would. You know Quantic would pay it for him, so it wouldn't really punish him at all That really isnt the point of it. It's to show that what he did was wrong... Hell, make it a reduction from his Code S prize money this season equal to whatever they want the fine to be. So manner mules are okay, but manner-worker rush isn't? The main point is that GOM feels that naniwa stepped on their toe because he offically and forcfully showed that the tourny setup is bad. GOM don't want that that happens (like every radical regime acts) and there for punishs naniwa in a way which is totally wrong. But what does GOM care about my opinion: oh right, they wont get money from me.
And Í'm wondering that i read no where: "GOM is hurting eSports"

i hope they realize what they're doing is wrong, losing potential money thus withdraw their decision

How is probe-rushing an unimportant match offending the audience or opponent?

What strategies are for GOM ... ok? Is it ok to do a 6 pool? Is it ok to take 4 drones and attack? We clearly see we can't probe rush ...
Soon we will see that the minimum game requirement is 30 minutes and we get 15 minutes to "evolve" like playing on Big Game Hunters 10 years ago.
Do you understand that you can't win with a strategy like probe rush in a competition like GSL. You might not win straight-up with 6pooling, but you can follow it up and win. That is the difference between these. Okay so making a 6-gate should also be allowed then.
Sorry, but i don't get the point of your post. Might be my fault, because i haven't slept yet.
But what the hell that has to do with anything? 6gate is a valid tactic which works in some situation and yes, it isn't prohibited, so what is it you are after?

My small contribution at least. Just did too. I'm a Naniwa fan so obviously I'm biased but if any other player did the same thing and was punished the same way I'd still do the same. The ruling was so ridiculous Did you get upset over Coca losing his code S spot? It was a different situation, anyone who thinks they're the same situation is frankly a fool. CoCa vs Byun was for a potential Code A seed Nani vs Nestea was a pointless match that had no tangible reward for winning or losing
If Coca vs Byun was a pointless match that had no affect on anything to do with GSL placings or prize money, yes I would be upset.

Face it, the punishment was so severe because of the fact that the community was so outrated and vocal about it... You guys have yourselves to blame, and now you feel sorry that this happened to Nani and blame GOM...
Quite Pathetic actually, how the community always looks for small to exaggerate and blame organizations because the community can never be held responsible.
The Coca and this incident are to appease the community because the fact is, if its not done, there is outrage, and if there is something done, there is still outrage
