Sen all the way! His idea speaks enough, and if Sen is a full time pro, he would dominate. Just look at archivement of Sen and Idra. Idra is a full time pro, Sen is a college student and still out perform Idra.

But yeah, I vote for the 1st choice, no one could claim the throne right now.

The throne is vacant as of now :\ There's no real dominate Zerg at the moment (Nestea is the closest).

I think for the King of Zergs the throne is unclamined. I feel like the zerg utilities are just being uprooted such as Roach Drops and Nydus play. So far it just seems like zergs have not found the perfect balance of Aggression to macroing. But hey what do I know I dont live in Korea and I am not in the top tier of play (im in platinum).

I think this question is best answered after this GSL season. I am confident of the 3 Zergs, Nestea, Losira and July doing pretty well this GSL and am confident of a Zerg in the finals.

For the foreign scene, Idra hands down is the best Zerg. Espeically with his new sick style of actually making good attacks with hydra drops etc.

Nestea took the title a long time ago. His power over the kingdom is shaky at best, however. The king has shown some weakness and a young upstart may one day attempt to usurp the throne.

I picked Nestea. But his grasp on the throne is tenuous.

I truly think that IdrA is on the cusp of being the Zerg King. He consistently performs well, and once he cracks Toss he'll be dominant.

This is really hard

July has shown the best RECENT results. NesTea has shown the best OLD results.

As for the rest, idra/dimaga/fruit/sen/ret/etc, they are all pretty close in terms of results.

Considering the game gets HARDER over time due to the discovery of new strategy, July's accomplishments are better than NesTeas in my opinion, so he would be (slightly) the top ranked zerg so far.

ooo. Nice post with very nice graphics and even nicer write-ups.

Currently, I don't think anyone has had the consistency that would make them a "Zerg king." oGsMC is regarded as the best Protoss in the world due to his consistency in getting very deep into most tournaments.

However, the Terran and Zerg players of the world have yet to have such a semi-bonjwa emerge since many top players have quite a few inconsistent results in a lot of tournaments.

IMO, it's too early to call someone a Zerg king this soon after the game's release. Perhaps after a year can we tally up all the results to see who the most dominant Zerg player is.

Agree about the balance of aggression and macroing I think everyone agrees that because of larvae its a fine line to tread. Ive been fiddling with a more T/P style of macro in that I dont make 14 drones at once and then get rolled over by a 4-5 gate timing 30 seconds later. every time i cycle through my hatches I make 1-3 drones and the rest various units. Not optimal for macro in that if i miss a window where I could have made 14 drones I'm a bit behind, but havnt cut drones so I cant be super agressive. It has been working thus far but I'm low masters so what do I know (not sarcastic, I know how huuuuuuuuuuge the gap is between me and everyone with a recognizeable name)

Right now I also agree that the throne is unclaimed. July has to be given an advantage for 2nd place last GSL and in the Korea VS the World he went on a 3 game run. Unfortunately no one else has been performing in code S but I have high hope for Losira.

I do not feel anyone else really deserves to be considered at this point. Terran King you could have an MVP/MKP/NADA argument, but zerg just feel like I'm arguing who isnt the worst instead of who is the best as we haven't had anyone dominate multiple tourneys in a loooong time. Zergs feel like one hit wonders.
