The best zerg at the moment is probably NesTea, all things considered. But even he's finding it a tad tricky to deal with some of the protoss play of late, it seems.

Mondragon may not be the Zerg king, but his potential is fucking sky high. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be in the mood to get too deep into pro gaming atm, which is a shame since he is extremely talented even with supposedly little preparation. If only more Zergs played like Mondragon...

Well, Nestea seems to be struggling recently, and we don't know much about his play against foreigners. As good as the GSL players are, it's a small pool. And in the GSL world tournament, you can see that Koreans might be vulnerable to foreign styles of play. IdrA hasn't had a big win recently, but he consistently places well. And after watching his stream recently, I really think him and Dimaga are close to getting over 'the hump'. They both seemed to plateau for a while but I think their play is starting to get even stronger. It's just a gut feeling though. I still think Nestea is the best, based purely on accomplishments, but IdrA and Dimaga are not as far behind as people think.

Awesome write-up. Very well written. I like the style that you use, it is entertaining. My vote goes to Losira at this point. He is not the King yet, but he is a prince. If he can control his units a bit better and polish his strategies a bit better I think he will be crowned soonish.

Despite his supposed lack of practice, his games in the TSL have shown that he is an RTS master who needs no practice to blow us away. Furthermore, I heard that he claimed to have "solved" the Protoss deathball sometime after his matches against Cruncher, and I really want to see his solution in action. Who's won the most 1) High Profile Tournaments 2) Money I can tell you you flat out who the best player in the world is. It's MC. Now apply that formula to a Zerg player and who do you get. Problem solved. Don't bring up players who stream and have viewers, I want players who WIN. B/c no one gives a shit as long as you're a winner.

His control groups aren't very good, he has like 2 hotkeys for his army which are like 5/6,if you watch his stream he tends to move infestors into the middle of the fight an get them killed. This is not a good thing since ZvP is starting to lean heavily on Infestor-Roach/Ling-BanelingDrops and army control actually matters since you no longer 1-a Roach/Hydra and hope for the best. His games against Axslav you could see it really hurting him in engagements, losing nearly every infestor every fight :/ Generally when you are set up poorly to handle something like that, you have to change how you play, changing hotkeys, getting use to multiple unit groups, etc and when that happens you tend to get worse before you get better. Sheth might become really scary once he cleans up his play a bit (compared to other pro zergs that is, the guy is already a monster), better control groups and unit control like you hinted for exemple. He already has incredible game sense and watching him play is impressive.
