I think going by what we've seen it has to be Idra. Nestea has not had many televised games lately so its hard to pinpoint how his play style is holding up right now. While MLG through to DH and the opening performances in NASL and IGN, Idra has stepped up his game. Using strats and builds we just don't see others using. Want to see how zergs can dismantle a Terran? watch the Idra v TLO series at DH. Want to see how to punish 1 base protoss pressure? Watch Idra v Socke in the NASL.

All bias aside I still say Nestea. Results trump all.

^

And until Idra puts up or shuts up he's just another imba whiner.

Walk the walk here fellas.

lol @ Idra #2 in votes. Silly TL. He's probably not even the best zerg in the US right now(I'd say Sheth), let alone the world.

Nestea gets my vote, he's been consistently the best. Losira a very close 2nd.

Lol at fanboys saying Idra.

Still Nestea...

well being honest looking at zerg results lately I would say Idra is a contender. I mean right now July/Idra are up there they both are getting results (not winning anything) but still getting results. Nestea as far as i have seen has been losing a lot lately and not been getting as good results.

But I agree with the person who said this:

Idra = Nesta = July except I would also add Losira/Sen too the list . Those are the 5 best zergs and I honestly don't know who I think is the best out of those 5 ^_^.
When I think of something else, something will go here

I dont see any really dominant zerg (like you would call Jaedong the best BW zerg) yet. So its an empty throne yet.

Nestea is obviously the best zerg, but it doesn't seem right to call him the Zerg King.

MC and MVP are clearly a level above all other, but to me Nestea just doesn't give off that same feeling.

Idra's not winning tournaments lately but what zergs are? He's doing ok for a zerg now and is definitely top 5 imo. I would say Nestea > idra=july=losira. But only because nestea has results. It's really a toss up but i dont think the other foreign zergs are at these guys' level. Maybe morrow.

Jaedong.
With 1 month of Sc2 practice he would be the best.

IdrA has 95% competitive vs Zerg win ratio. With his last 10 games all being wins.
Everyone tries twice as hard to beat him, playing with the underdog mentality.
If you had to assign a Zerg king he would be it.

BUT no Zerg is really doing very well at the moment and every Zerg has weaknesses in their play. Someone needs to put all the pieces of Zerg together and then they could be the true Zerg king.

First off, IdrA has closer to 86% winrate vs zerg and was 1-2 in Korea. Second, that doesn't really mean anything. Losira has an 87% winrate vs zerg and Nestea has an 85% winrate.

Also, are you saying people don't try hard to beat Nestea/July?

IdrA vs Sheth or Vibe or any US Zerg would be an instant 2-0 in favor of IdrA just so you know.

Nestea btw, probably nestea / dimaga / idra & sen on top with losira as the guy who is rising.
July, I just don't think is style is serious.

What? He failed at MLG and DH. How can you call those good performances when he got torn apart and embarrassed silly.

It is clearly Nestea.

The idra fanboys are hilarious, though.

I think currently IdrA is better than he was in Korea so he is probably the best atm.

Idra does not have a 95% win ratio vs z, that's only his record against foreigners...

The best zerg based off results and play is nestea, there are many that follow closely after but to say idra is the king of zerg is laughable.

edit: example the post above me. Most people voting idra are doing it based off opinion and fanboyism. His results have not been anything spectacular.

What? What has he done since he came to NA? Since he wins more games on his stream now that he is in NA instead of Korea?

I'm still putting my faith in Sen. Once his studies are done and he's in full-esports-training rotation I think he'll be absolutely beast-mode. We've yet to see him really shine in SC2
