Hard to say Idra with him leaving Korea and not playing against the best of the best anymore. Nestea is still the best in my mind. I guess we'll know for sure in Code S this season.

I love Dimaga, but I don't know why people are giving him so much hype in here. Okay he beat Nestea in a bo3. One of those games was a ten 10.
He beat MVP with a massive baneling bust, after fighting an epic macro game where it was generally accepted he was losing when the d/c came.

I like the guy, but just because he showed some flair in a showmatch in Korea, does not mean he's on the level of Nestea/idra/Losira/july/etc who have shown multiple times how solid they are.

To be fair, the man is currently ranked 3rd in the world on the ladder. Might get a lot of "Ladder doesn't mean anything" posts, but even if you believe that, it's still nothing to scoff at. He's amazing at the game, sadly he doesn't have many notable SC2 tournament results to compare to other players.

I definetely think he's a great zerg player, and has potential. But I don't think you can justify him as a top zerg until he shows more results at tournaments.

as much as I'm a fan of idra, nestea is the current zergking. at a time when other zergs like idra was whining about early marine pushes and so on (this is back in GSL2 btw), nestea just shrugged, carried on and took out the GSL2.

It's hard to be a King when your kingdom is 3rd world in comparison with your competitors'...lol.

But I'd say Nestea if I had to choose.

IdrA doesn't deserve it. Nestea for Korea, SEn for foreigners. Excited to see Losira try to take the crown from his teammate tho :D

The throne is empty, civil war is raging across the realm and bandit Protoss are pillaging all the villages

Nestea used to be the king.

I would like to see Liquid'Ret on the list as well. I know he hasn't won anything major, but he is a very talented and player, and I hope he can prove it in the future!
IdrA is definitely the best mechanically, but I think he lets his emotions get to him and it causes him to choke...

Sheth!!!

I think right now Nestea is the best zerg player at the moment, however July and Losira are close behind. Personally I hope Sheth makes a big splash in the next MLG or in NASL/IGN Pro League, he is likely the best North American Zerg player in my opinion.

IdrA obviously. The guy has the sickest mechanics, and i have seen fpvod/streams of nearly all the foreigner zergs !

Not only that he has a personality and is a really smart / intelligent dude.

Will have to see how Nestea performs this season in GSL. I think he's still the best in the world at holding off early cheese/rushes so he definitely has an advantage there since a strong early game is absolutely essential for Zergs to get a level playing field in any of the matchups. I think Losira is right up there though, he's testing out new strategies all the time and showing some strong results, and as Idra said about him on SotG, he's very mechanical as well. If he cleans up his strategies his mechanics will shine through and he'll be no slouch.

I think Idra gets too much shit for his leaving games and such, though I think sometimes he may be a little impulsive. He's always been one of my favourite players to watch and he definitely has a very strong grasp on what is and isn't possible to come back from, but it seems that sometimes he underestimates himself or overestimates his opponent.

I'm certain if Idra had been in the position Morrow was in his game against TLO on Crossfire he would have left the game after his natural was destroyed. In most circumstances against most high-level opponents, that would be a good call. Morrow came back into that game because TLO made some pretty bad decisions. Not taking anything away from Morrow because he played pretty spectacularly to come back, but TLO could and should have won that game, and handily. I think if Idra was a little less impulsive and backed himself a little more (because his mechanics are so strong) he might have more chances at these kinds of comebacks. Or it might just put him even more on tilt, who knows.

Finally, Sen is one of my favourite players to watch just because his playstyle is so fun and awesome. He games against Zenio in the NASL and against Fenix/Boxer in the TSL were pretty amazing, especially when he won through sheer macro ability and just obliterated his opponents. His stream is also fun to watch when he gets 200/200, builds 30 spines to get 200/200 again, cancels and then has 230/200 with like 15 Brood Lords. Plain awesome.

Actually he has been for 3 years.

Seriously, Losira is totally up and coming, if the throne is empty now and to be taken soon, it should be him as the successor.

KKKK, and the zerg king pays tribute to the Protoss Emperor so that they won't wipe away his race.
