Nestea
Dimaga
Losira

Top3, it'd be hard to pick a favorite. They are all on a complete different level. July doesn't belong on such a list, yet.

I think this poll is rather limiting as in why not include the wild cards as well? It gives people more options to choose from. Personally, I'm not too sure who I'll choose, kinda disappointing how FruitDealer is playing recently but I guess Nestea takes this one :/

No one is playing well enough to deserve the title right now. July, Nestea and Dimaga are my top 3 though.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, your opinion man

Nestea then Losira just look at their W/L records.
http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-korean/players/29_NesTea
http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-korean/players/688_LosirA

IdrA should not even be on the list of contenders. He rarely wins in tournament.compared to others.

Honestly I think LosirA is farrrr underrated/mentioned, the kid is a BEAST and if you play Zerg and watch his play, it's soooo clean and sound.

Id say its either Losira or July, depending on Losira's performance in Code S. If Losira can prove his worth like he did previously in Code-A, I would say he deserves the throne. Otherwise in my mind July gets it.

Nestea just hasn't impressed me lately, Dimanga and Sen don't have enough experience playing zerg in huge tourneys like the GSL (or at least doing well in them) to really be crowned "the king", and IdrA... well... I know he BMs for show, but does MC show BM? Does (insert king of terran here) BM? No. IdrA does. Kings are above bad manners, and know how to control their anger towards other players who may or may not play terran.

Wildcards... We will see. I still think its between Losira and July.
Survival is winning, everything else is bullshit.

Nestea still, although July is close. Both of them are a bit inconsistent atm, so I'll say Nestea.

Also, anyone notice that if July kept his name FantaPrime, and Nestea stays IMNestea, that the top two Zergs (debateable... korean zergs?) would both have names from pop? Fanta, the orange pop, and Nestea, the tea pop (lol).

And Nestea would be the macro/econ Zerg, while Fanta would be the micro/aggressive Zerg xD

@tdt

I totally agree, Idra has been performing very poorly. Even in GSL, he was only average or above average, but not great. And ever since he set foot in SC2, he has still played, almost virtually, all his games very rigidly with the same style over and over and over. He loses to aggression a lot and even his Macro is nothing to boast anymore. On top of that, his misbehavior is hard to tolerate, though I thank him at the same time for introducing drama/smack-talk into the starcraft scene (the villain of starcraft, as asked by Jason Lee =D)

I don't think there's a clear best. Nestea, Sen, and Idra are all up there. Maybe Dimaga, Sheth and Ret as well.

^lol good catch.

However, I really feel July is good but... his style is too volatile to last that long. MC picked it apart hard, but ZvP vs MC... I don't think any Z wouldn't get picked apart.

Oh also, once Nestea wins this GSL May
(he better, considering even oGsMC has gotten knocked out of Group and considering so many of the good players are in Code A; players previously from Code B or Code S),
I think it will be clear he is, for now, the Zerg King, along with the Protoss King, oGsMC, and the Terran King, IMMVP. (As judged by them all having 2 golds). I think it will be really cool for that to happen; we'll have our first circle of "milestones" or possibly even bonjwas.

Gogo Nestea, hurry up before all the Code A'ers get into Code S and make it even harder!

I think it's Nestea and Dimaga, at least those are my top two picks. I love all of them though, it's so hard to choose!

I do want to see Spanishwa in more tournaments though to see some big games out of him. He's my Zerg hero right now for that ice fisher style (is that what it's called?)

I love Dimaga, but I don't know why people are giving him so much hype in here. Okay he beat Nestea in a bo3. One of those games was a t10 pool too. (Meaning he went 1-1 in macro games)
He beat MVP with a massive baneling bust, after fighting an epic macro game where it was generally accepted he was losing when the d/c came.

I like the guy, but just because he showed some flair in a showmatch in Korea, does not mean he's on the level of Nestea/idra/Losira/july/etc who have shown multiple times how solid they are.

Nothing wrong with BM if it's cocky because it's positive vibes and can hype you up but IdrA is nothing but negative thus fails.

To be fair, the man is currently ranked 3rd in the world on the ladder. Might get a lot of "Ladder doesn't mean anything" posts, but even if you believe that, it's still nothing to scoff at. He's amazing at the game, sadly he doesn't have many notable SC2 tournament results to compare to other players.

I predict by the end of this season we'll think it's losira. July is also quite good, but for some reason people assosciate being Zerg king with standard play.
