That said, I do think Losira and July are catching up to him. But at the moment, NesTea is the best.

He qualified for GSL1, he won GSL2, got to the ro8(maybe ro16, I don't remember) in GSL3, got to the semifinals in GSL Code S1, and is now in the ro8 again. He also got second in the Gainward tournament in december/january. He has more results than any Zerg, there is no way he shouldn't be considered the best right now. Any results in the last 3 months? No. Aside from Losira, which Zerg has?

Rofl, getting to the ro8 and ro4 within 3 months aren't results? Who has any results? And don't say losira winning code A is better than Nestea getting to the ro4.

Losira is up there but being a non-already-really-big-Korean-player means we barely see him in anything other than the GSL. Nestea hasn't been the top zerg for a couple months at least. How has he been the best Zerg? On the basis on making the final in one GSL? July flopped out of the world champions as badly as Nestea did and July's out of the current GSL, which Nestea is not. There's a balance between only considering games in the last month and talking about beta/early release wins that most people are missing here. The only Zerg who has been consistantly at the top level of SC2 throughout is Nestea and judging by his current Ro8 he's still got it.

NesTea has been in every single GSL, and has gotten far in most of them. NesTea has been a top player from September all the way to now, in may of 2011. He's been at the top for almost 9 months now. There is no way anyone else compares.

I think. Nestea is still top, but I would not call him a king. His play has never been dominant like that of MVP or MC. His wins don't make me sit back and say "Wow, how did that happen?" And I think that is an important thing as a viewer and fan. IdrA is definitely right behind Nestea IMO. When he is on his game, he completely crushes his opponent, regardless of who they are. I will never forget his game vs Clide... how embarassing. Unfortunately he loses focus too easily and wallows in the shortcomings of his race. Overall, I think the lack of a true Zerg king pays tributw to the state of the race. Since release, Zerg has consistantly shown to be sub-par. I think the state of the race is better now, but the top players are all searching for answers. My vote is Idra, but its looking forward and comes with stipulations. If he can continue his dominant style like he's been showing lately and lock down his self-defeating attitude, he will have the gameplay of the true Zerg king we are looking for. If not... I fear Nestea is a solid Zerg, but not an exciting Zerg, and that is no king if you ask me.

Nestea barely made it out of groups by getting to play the same person he beat TWICE. He then has to beat Fruit (his best MU, stood no chance), Anypro (.... yeah), and probably Losira (his best MU) Yep, this is his GSL to win, he basically got the easiest possible bracket possible for himself.

I'm not sure what you're trying to argue. You keep downplaying everyone elses achievements and then call idra the zerg king? What results has he produced... oh yea btw, the player pool in ipl and nasl are not at the same level as gsl.

Barely made it out of his group? He got cheesed via bunker rush in game one then 2-0'd a very solid Terran in Jinro. He was in the supposed Group of death so I'd love to know how he had an easy bracket.

Lol, I'm pretty sure he could beat anyone in that group really.

Just FWIW you're saying this about a guy who won a game where he got totally duped and ended up with a single zergling and a spore crawler when 4 warpgates worth of units + a void ray showed up at his front door ![]()

I will say Nestea is the best in the world based on results and consistantly getting high in tournaments....but I think as a player Idra isn't far behind, he just hasn't won the tournaments that he should be yet. 1) Nestea 2) Idra 3) Losira

Had Choya protected his Void Ray AT ALL the game would have been over in a snap. I am not insulting Nestea at all. I would even say I am a fan of his, but he just doesn't blow my mind like I think a good king should. IdrA does does give that wow factor, but he just can't keep the consistency up.
