GGTeMpLaR United States. February 06 2011 02:40 I wish the genie did nothing but give me all his powers and nothing more (keeping his curse) + Show Spoiler +Granted. Know this. As a genie, part of my power includes irreversible immutableuncounterable power, after I grant anyone his/her one wish, to immediately return to the lamp as a fully paralyzed immortal genie on a wheelchair feeling all the pain in your body known to exist, while everyone around you lives an eternity of fornication, food, party, and BW, while totally ignoring you, and you have no other power until another 1000 years expire. During which time I'd have become human, fornicated with all the most beautiful women in the world, played BW all day, drank the best spirits, eat the best food, and died happily. GL for a thousand years

My version is much better, because the genie give it to you, and then the genie boss pops out of the ground and puts you in a lamp, just as he did with the old genie long ago cause he made the same wish

I would wish for the genie to be clear of all emotions (including vengeance) except happiness. The only thing that makes him truely happy is helping those in need (such as people starving, the terminally ill etc).

Wish granted. The genie goes back into the lamp and shows up 1000 years later, happy to help ^^

I wish I could teleport from place to place freely on will
Wish granted, everytime you teleport from place to place you might teleport onto something, lets say you teleport home and your roomie has left a sock on the floor, you teleport on it, your foot hurts like hell since that sock has integrated with your foot. Im pretty sure that flying dust wont do any good in your brain either.

Indeed.. Maybe the power to turn invisble at will, and back again without any effort or any side effects like permanent invisibility or shit like that. Could come in handy I reckon. was that a wish? Hmm.. yeah! :D wish granted, whenever you choose to be invisible the light passes straight through you, rendering you invisible, since no light gives any reaction in your eyes nerves, you are blind when you are invisible.

This is a book.
"I wish for more wishes" was met by the wisher becoming the "genie".

I wish genie has wife with him in the bottle.

I'd turn you invisible. Permanently. And make everyone else unable to hear you. You can do whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it, since there's nobody that could stop you. Technically, "everything is possible", so I'm not imposing any limits either. I wish nothing in my life changed part from the contents of my desk drawer, where I want 10.000 euros in clean, unmarked, untraceable, genuine 100e bills. I'm humble, I know.
Nothing would ever change for you, you can never get a raise, never change job and never die. Time effectively stands still for you and over time, you begin to get sick of watching the same TV shows.
You can never spend your money, as you can never gain things that you didn't have previously.
& The genie gives you the flu, for all eternity.

How does that not fall under side effects?

True... Okay, more robust wish time!
All of the above, but he is also freed from his captivity while retaining his powers. If this goes in to the catagory of more than one wish, i'd ask for like 5 wishes and go along them in some form of logical pattern. Opening with something like you must give me 5 more wishes after this one while not hindering my ability in any way to ask for the wishes (would stop him turning me in to stone or anything midway... Or killing me.). No altering my mental state either. I'm sure there's still a loophole here somewhere...

I'd get my wish right eventually. wish granted, however, you switch dimension when you do, and this alternate reality you reincarnate into does not necessarily include the either you or the genie (i.e. you might not be born in this alternate reality, as such you would be born as someone else).

you kinda ignored the last page of responses that all did the same thing you did and included the curses/responsibility that come with the power that I specifically wished to not have

Because if he's going to be a dick about it then fuck him. wish granted, the genie stops counting immiedietly because he knows how many grains of sand there is, infinitely many, so he doesn't need to count them.

Why try to find loopholes? Just ask for something simple and see how it can be twisted.
I wish for peace among all living things in the galaxy.
