I have to agree with you. Ignorant shit like most of the posts in this thread is the reason why Catreina has that bad attitude. People need to grow the fuck up and learn to understand and love people who are different than themselves.

Actually stomach fat is a testosterone driven thing; women tend to store fat in hips/thighs, men in the stomach. Without hormones, the only way to get a female-type stomach for most people is to be very, very thin.

Highly disturbing effect.
My brain wants to explode!

The stomach is a digestive organ inside the body. It does not really store fat. Perhaps you meant belly instead of stomach?

If you saw her coming out segment, she asked everyone to view her as a woman rather than what she was born as. To be sensitive, you could at least humor the request if you aren't entirely sincere. Clearly it's not true for the purposes of procreation and some other biological (carnal) purposes, but that doesn't matter unless you're actually considering that (which many apparently are >_> ).

I think that rather than just saying we need gender studies, you should consider actually explaining at least the basics of what you want us to know. I can explain the difference between gender and sex as I understand it, which I believe is correct. Put simply: Sex- Is physical. You sex is either male or female, depending on your set of chromosomes. XX is female, XY is male Gender- Is mental. Your gender is not based on your chromosomes or any physical attributes, and is entirely open for you to determine. It's arguable that for gender there are more options than just male and female, and that things like homosexual male and bisexual female and crossdressing male can be their own gender identities. ok. 1) During fetal development, your brain is either imprinted with testosterone (male) or not (female) 2) Men and women have physically. observably different brains: different neuron levels in certain areas, different sizes of certain areas, differences in brain function (perception, etc) 3) This is a crucial window. After this point, no hormones, psychotherapy, torture, electroshock, etc will change this wiring. It is permanently set. A person could hit their head, have total amnesia, and the would still have their sense of gender preserved. 4)Now the terms: Transgendered: Umbrella term. Generally used to refer to people whose gender differs from their physical sex. Gender involves the brain and self. Sex is basically the status of the genitals at birth. Transsexual: A transgendered person who has done some surgery or hormones to change their body to match their gender. Some go from a male body to a female body; they are referred to as women, or if clarification is needed, trans women. Others go from female to male. They are male, or trans male. Crossdresser: Someone who dresses as the opposite sex (for political, sexual, or other reasons) Transvestite: Someone who crossdresses for sexual pleasure. There is virtually no overlap between transvestite and transsexual. Now that that is out of the way. Since the gender is inherently wired into the brain, and can not be changed/altered (doctors have given up trying), and gender is central to a person's identity, the reasons for a person desiring to transition (change their physical bodies to match their gender) can be understood. As long as the physical body does not match the gender identity, there will be an identity crisis ("I'm a woman, but my body is not, and no one treats me as such"). This is on a mostly subconscious level, and can not be changed with therapy, visualization, self-affirmation, etc. The identity crisis is not fun, but short of changing the body, there is absolutely no way to end it in the case of transsexuals. Symptoms of this identity crisis can include: eating disorders, insomnia, anxiety/panic attacks, severe depression. Pronouns are very important. 'It' is dehumanizing. Calling a trans woman 'he' or a trans man 'she' is not just an attack, it's a violation of their identity. In general, if someone looks like a woman, say 'she'. If someone looks like a man, say 'he'. If you are unsure what pronoun to use, ask (in private if possible) which pronoun to use. Ironically I think you're being very insensitive. Putting people in boxes with labels on them and making statements on what everyone in a certain box is like, or what they think or feel, that's bullshit. Everyone's different and we're a hell of a lot more complex than your neat theories.

The perception of others defines your attractiveness. This individual could meet all the other criteria ever to be a woman, but having a cock is, well, somewhat of a dealbreaker >_>.
Your personality is defined by you. How confident you are, whether your an introvert/extrovert, beliefs, level of intelligence -- a lot of those are determined, on some level, by genetics, but they're intrinsic qualities of a person that the outside world has little effect on. How good-looking someone is, though, is a matter of other peoples' opinions.

I wasn't trying to come across as an expert in the subject, which I am not, so I refrained from sharing my general but limited understanding, which is similar to yours.
Edit: Thank you fusionsdf, that should clear up a lot of ignorance.

fusionsdf is just giving a little background on terminology used by both trans and cis individuals.

this just makes her hotter... no homo

She is fucking gorgeous. If she wants me to view her as a women after the news is out then I'll continue to just do what is natural. She is one of the more attractive asians that I've seen in fact. Simply gorgeous...

I dunno, i've always found good traps interesting. I mean it takes a lot of work and they tend to have pride about how they carry themselves.
I'm certain that finding feminine features attractive means nothing has really changed.

He certainly looks pretty feminine, until you realize they have no curves whatsoever. That pic in the shorts with his gut sticking out at least shouts hormone issues.

bisu could probably pull this off !!!

wouldnt stop me from wanting to get to know her more or get closer to her if i was in that situation. but maybe im just more open minded and accepting of people for who they are than what their genitals happen to be than most people it seems.

I Lol'd so damn hard. It specially at the video - seriously, such a high-pitch voice. daamn. Go Japanese. You will never stop to amaze me. + Show Spoiler +Still, I can't tell that he's a man from the pics. either a good photoshop, or he's good at this.

She really looks great. Noticable on some of the pictures (since we know), not at all on others.
As Admiral Ackbar would say, It's a trap.
...unless you're bisexual, if you're bi I'd think your head would explode out of awesomeness.
And, no surgery? Hot damn. Them Japanese genes are quite feminine O.o

IMHO she'll get more followers as there are some people that are extremely turned on by this sort of stuff. I don't think she'll lose any either as even if it disgusts you, she's still pretty smoking hot haha.
