Man...

Ultralisk change = too much of an exception and too much of an 'easy way' out. Ultras were good in ZvT and ZvP even without frenzy. Who cares if they're risky ZvZ.

Also if the old IT on Infestors was ineffective how in the world would the overseer's version be useful on the Infestor.

That's interesting - maybe they thought the interface was giving too much help to the player by making it auto-attack?

My two cents: You have your scout rally-move out to the enemies base (for whatever reason). On the way, it sees your enemies scout and decides 'screw scouting, I'm gonna chase this drone'. Very annoying. Maybe that's why they did this?

well since the patch notes are up that means the server should be up pretty soon right? I mean, thats how they've done it in the past yeah? Or have they ever released patch notes n then kept the beta down till the next day?

Very very nice changes. I was just over in Day[9]'s thread whining about mech, this should help quite a bit, no more 250mm cannons completely butchering Ultras. I still foresee a small HP buff, though.

You're going to have a randomly assigned number attached to your account that you can share with people, in order for them to add you to their friends list.

So if I'm in game, and we're playing, and we want to add each other, I'd just be like "yea cool dude, add 1245-1634'

Agreed. Imagine proxying some gateways, and rallying to the enemy base, only to find that your rallied zealots went off chasing a scouting scv that ran by. It's a good change - just like it was back in BW.

You can add friends two ways now:

realid with their email
regular friend using their code

My guess is they still arent using identifiers so you can use any name you want even if its taken, the only unique part is the code.

It's really stupid, its like the thing mmos designed for children use so pedos cant add them as friends
