I really hoped that Fantasy would be able to pull it off with all that momentum and help of his coaches. Was looking forward to see Yarnc's ZvT against Fantasy. Would have been an incredible final. I am especially disappointed by game 3. I thought Fantasy will be able to defend it after he bult that simcuty but then Jaedong destroyed that freaking bunker in a spectacular fashion... I wonder what would have happened had Fantasy won game 3... | ||

What a joke. The TvT matchup was pretty much built for the finals. Some of the best games ever have been TvTs. Flash vs UpMagic from Batoo, Flash vs FBH from Proleague, UpMagic vs Light game 3 from WCG. All of them epic, all of them better as game 5 of a finals than a ZvZ could ever be. | ||

I wish Jaedong had done a celebration when he went up on the stage to toss the hat by pulling out a picture of Fantasy's face, showing it to the audience, then dropping it on the floor and moonwalking over it. TvT does. When it's two mediocre players battling it out in a random PL match, TvT is atrocious. I'll take a ZvZ over that anytime. At least it'll be fast and not too boring. But in a SL finals bo5, with so much at stake, and two players one can reasonably expect to be A or S-Class, ZvZ just doesn't cut it anymore, whereas TvT can become absolutely brilliant. Did you watch the MSL semis? Calm played brilliantly and Jaedong played solid although he lost. But can these games be called "epic" in any way? Not really. And I fear it's going to be the same vs Yarnc, unless some miracle happens. ZvZ doesn't scale. It's rarely atrocious. It's rarely great either. Overall, it sucks for finals. :/ As usual, personal opinion, etc. My favorite mirror is PvP anyway. | ||

I mean, come on. Nine pool is cheese? Jaedong went mass lings because Fantasy relied on his stupid wall to get into mech ASAP. Had Fantasy spawned in a position where his vultures and marines didn't spawn in a retarded position, Jaedong could have easily teched into mutalisks or hydralisks, and he would have been just fine. I swear that people will call anything other than 12 hatch into 3 hatch mutalisks cheese nowadays. Didn't you guys expect this at some point? Starcraft builds are getting greedier and greedier every season; there has to be some way for a Zerg player to keep Terran players real. | ||

Actually, Zergs have been sacrificing Econ for Aggressive Play (3 hatch to 2 hatch) in ZvT, Protoss has been relatively static in terms of opening....1 gate core has been common for a while now in PvT, its only Terrans in TvZ that has started using greedy builds because they can wall-in at Nat/choke and have this convienient ability called repair that lets them protect their wall with almost little to zero units while other races WILL get punished if enemy attacks them when they're playing greedy | ||

Typical ignorant T player. First off, T has the most cheesing capability out of any race, while Z has the least. Secondly, 9 pool speed is NOT cheese whatsoever. It's Fantasy's fault for building a shitty wall. JD just decided to go all-in and continue pumping Lings because he saw a window of opportunity. Thirdly, Fantasy cheesed his TWICE in the finals. Besides that, I think this proves that JD is definitely out of the slump he was going in to. You're blind if you didn't see the pure rage in his eyes - it looked like he was about ready to tear Fantasy's head off. He's back, he's pissed, and there is NO WAY that Yarnc is winning this final. With JD back and ready for vengeance, and the fact that this is the only thing he's practicing for, Yarnc should just huddle in a corner and cry in the fetal position and hope it ends quickly. | ||

People also used that "JD will destroy everyone because he's angry" crap on the MSL semis, and look how that turned out.
