Long live the king. Did you guys think Fantasy would actually get away with 8 raxing Jaedong in the FINALS of SKT1 vs. Oz? This win wasn't only for Jaedong, but for his team as well. There's no pro on the scene more deserving of this title than JD. Looking forward to seeing Jaedong's ZvZ at its top in the finals. | ||

Game1 was lost when Fantasy cleverly slipped those vultures in. His tactical play is near-perfect and when the players are as incredibly gosu as Fantasy and JD you really can lose that fast. Game2 was incredible. It showed what should have happened in the PL final. I know I wasn't the only one confused by guardian play but this really showed why Jaedong should always favour lurker/ling/hydra/defiler in high-gas situations. Guardian play might be great for A-class players, but not S-class. Fantasy played very well too, but here we saw who has the best physical of all time, the multi-tasking and macro was insane. Game3... wtf Jaedong has balls the size of grapefruit. He 4 pools on a 4 player map!? Even then it shouldn't have worked. He duped Fantasy by hiding some lings and snuck in beautifully to take the bunker down and the win. Fantasy will be gutted he didn't protect that bunker better. He could afford to leave SCVs ready to repair and still be miles ahead in economy. Game4. A bit of a shame really. Understandably shaky play from Fantasy. | ||

pretty interesting set of games. fantasy gave away that game to the 4 pool, he could have just made marines and won instead of going factory. | ||

Jaedong fucking cheesed the last 2 games, and I respect him even less now. I mean c'mon 4 pool and next game all in lings again and Fantasy made some weird wall and Jaedong got very lucky. At least Jaedong knows how to be lame, whereas Fantasy probably would have won if the last games were straight up. And yeah I'm kinda speaking in rage but still I think the last games were very lame. | ||

Jaedong only went all-in lings in the last game because he saw that Fantasy's wall was awful and that if he massed lings he'd be able to pull a Reagan. | ||

And the 4 pool- in a bo5 series you have to play mindgames. my main complaint of jaedong before the series was his continual standard 12 hatch every game. first 2 games were really fun to watch though. | ||

He was making drones for a while until he realized that fantasy sucks at picking the right builds for each position. Yeah Fantasy would have won if they were straight-up, just like he won game 2. | ||

1) Jaedong's face in the fourth set when the Barracks went down....absolute death, probably one of the most terrifying expressions I've ever seen on a gamers face. 2) As for all the whiners about, "Jaedong cheesed", it worked; and in the end it doesn't matter how, the only thing that matters is that Jaedong advanced and Fantasy didn't. They're both great, but on that particular day, Jaedong was the better. I didn't hear any Fantasy fanboys bitching when Fantasy cheesed JD in PL. 3) DO NOT count Yellow out. The Tyrant is still his same old nigh-invincible self, but a ZvZ is a ZvZ, and Jaedong's recent play has looked, dare I say it, mortal? Disclaimer: Having said the above, number 3 in particular, I still feel Jaedong will take the OSL and become the 3rd. person to win a golden mouse, and, something many are forgetting, the 2nd. person to win 2 consecutive OSL's in a row, a feat only accomplished by Boxer. | ||
