I'm not implying anything and you shouldn't infer anything. I wish you just answered the question.

Yeah, ok chill. That's a smart question. I played 10 games and had 4 walkovers. Yeah, I went back and mulled over all my fucking games... You can't ask rhetorical questions and then have a "wtf attitude" if they are not answered to your liking.
Chill, what is your favorite food? If you can ask pointless questions and demand answers, why can't I get an answer to something equally retarded.

did you know that a rhetorical question is one that the person doesn't expect an answer from? it obviously wasn't a rhetorical question since Chill was actually looking for you to answer it.

Xeris, I remember you said you would like to run these tourneys; I'm starting to wonder if, in fact, you are not already doing so. I"m fully aware of the word I used... but thanks for sharing your shallow analysis. And when someone tells me "wtf is wrong with your fav food question," I'm going to say, it's a honest question. To 1) slightly cover up the angle I was coming at. 2) to needle the guy even more, because he knows as well as I do that my question was fucking retarded.

I mean when it comes to organization you are highly regarded by the broodwar community. No reason if you wanted to get involved why they wouldn't let you. Of course arbitration of ]ex[ members would be a conflict of interests but even in that case I would still expect you to be just/fair ... I mean its not like you or even incontrol are going to throw away your years of reputation for an online qualifier.

I have good news, I just got this message from the admin: "Who said anything about replaying this?"
I'm going to read between the lines and take it that Nyoken has won this tourney. Hopefully, non- biased and intelligent people will review this situation, and then finally there will be changes in WCG.

indeed but I doubt anyone would even respond to an email if I were to send one.

Nyoken won this fair and square.

Guys, if this thread has proved anything, it's that people overseeing this should not have conflicting interest. It's easy to say "I will be fair," but when it comes down to it, that's simply not a situation you or the fellow gamers should be in. We need an admin that can make it to all the important dates, and who is very knowledgeable about the game and clarify all of the misunderstandings for us.

If I were to abuse with someone, with the premise of the better man will win the qualifier, I would be saying the same thing as you. Couldn't believe you indicated you would play this tonight if it were to be replayed.
|
Not to mention, saying nyoken won this "fair and square" is code for "I'm covering my fucking ass."

Such a tangled web of retardation this kid weaves!

I got an e-mail from glostik to report the results from sunday. I want everyone to know that I was not trying to weasel anyone in this. Like I said before I didn't know of any conversation between Chosen and Timestop before showing up to this. I understand that Timestop had soccer obligations at X time. I had obligations (poker tournament) too and I canceled all of them to play in this.
We were going by the guide. Even Xeris agreed that we should play it and hes a big time community guy. Please be lenient on Chosen. He saw the guide and was going off of it, too. My screenshots with glostik showed that the scheduled time is 12. If this was run offline and 2 people showed up to the LAN they're not going to say so and so isn't here so we'll play it later. No, the 2 people showed up so they play it from there. Last year at regionals only me and Future showed up so we auto won.
Again I'm not trying to steal wins. Arguably I still ended up playing the best player out of the 4. But like people said anything can happen. Trust me, I feel somewhat bad but it's not my fault that arrangements weren't made.

Normally, I would choose not to post on these forums because of previous issues.
But, I would like to point out that Nyoken and Chosen did the right thing by playing at the default time as is stated in the competition guide. We have to have a default time when parties cannot agree on a time together. That default time must be used when the parties involved cannot agree on a set time.
However, **IF** all parties involved agree to a replay, then I will allow it.
Despite how things may seem sometimes, these are community based events, and I don't like to force anyone to a Forfeit Win, unless its absolutely necessary.
Also, dont rely on someone else to talk to an admin for you to ask for a postponement. And Chosen shouldnt be offering to do so. If YOU have a problem, you need to deal with it by either asking an admin or submitting a support ticket (best way). If its some sort of emergency, I can be contacted on MSN - lordrunt@hotmail.com . Geoff (Incontrol) can vouch that I will respond and talk on MSN.

Trust me based on the first qualifier where I went off on Laurent I definitely didn't expect him to side with me. I was more angry that I was walk overed pretty much for being "more" late from my point of view.
|
Laurent, could you explain how my proposition of "if there has been no abuse, then nyoken has won this whole tourney and it should be changed to that," turns into you submitting a win of nyoken versus me (only me).
I'm giving you shit because last qualifier, before even looking at my fucking walkover request, you came on here threatening to disqualify me. You came on at like 11pm when the tourney happened at 3, and hadn't even reviewed shit yet. Worthless.

he said he would play tonight if needed and if he got to the finals against Nyoken he would forfeit because Nyoken won fair and square. stop trying to cause drama.
