You did report a W.O. - You asked to rectify the situation after the fact. The fact that you reported a W.O. is the messed up part. (Based on the facts of the situation). Reporting false scores is one way to get disqualified. And just because you tried to rectify it after the fact, doesnt change that you did it in the first place. I didnt change any subject, you asked for me to post your walkover submission which i promptly responded I would if you wanted. | ||

There is definitely favoritism/double standards going on here. I'm "nobody" in this community but it's pretty obvious that this whole thing has been poorly handled by everyone involved. Banning a single person does nothing to resolve the underlying issue. I would like to think that admins/moderators at teamliquid would do their best to resolve the situation rather than merely reacting after it gets out of hand. Unfortunately that hasn't been the case here. | ||

I don't want to avoid the ban, but this is so ridiculous when the people that didn't even abuse can take the blame... I didn't even show up for anything... The only reason this fraudulent tourney is becoming official is due to the admin not wanting to have to admit to failing his job; the guy didn't make the final brackets, nor did he did show up at the "default time." The players are supposed to show up at this time, but not the admin? It's the final 4 for crying out loud, the last day of the tourney... I'm deff not here to make friends, so I don't care what you think of me. It just pains me that so many of you are quick to side with "big names" or "authority figures," and ignoring the cold hard facts. It's not as if what I'm saying can't be proved. You guys are just lazy... Future's lengthy post was about as dead on as it gets. If you read that and you think I should be taking the blame as opposed to someone like Chosen, how could you not be "slandered." That's ridiculous, and I'm sure you guys are aware of that. But... it is a lot easier to jump on the bandwagon. I hope the wheels don't fall of it again, though. | ||

He has been involved in all of the conflicts at wcg this year (big surprise) and acts ... like he does. Teamliquid is not the home for all wcg complaints, he can still seek out the worldcybergames webpage for further resolution, coming here and attacking the admin the way he did was wrong and not tolerated. You aren't going to get him unbanned with your 'appeals to reason'. Its over. | ||

Guys, you don't have to unban me -- if I don't have to defend myself from something -- I'm not likely to post. I try to only post when I am called to do so... I am 100% confident that if WCG is a top- notch organization and if they don't have a policy of "we can do no wrong," then there will be changes. Be it about the results of this tourney, or how the future tourneys are ran. The only thing I have learned from this forum is to make sure you bring friends with you... I'm here to talk about the logistics of the situation, not who has more supporters... It would be nice if Day could be a player/admin, as there are few people who I respect more, and I have confidence in him to assess the situation properly. | ||

Calling your opinion "fact" doesn't make it any more or less true. I'm not trying to get anyone unbanned, merely pointing that so far all of this reflects poorly on everyone involved and that banning machinehead didn't resolve anything. Obviously teamliquid isn't the place for this kind of drama, but once it's here and in the main thread where people like me go to read results, I would hope that the people involved and the moderators here at TL would actively seek resolution rather than letting the problem get to a point where people are so frustrated they start flaming. It's pretty hard to support USA starcraft when there's so much bad blood and drama between the most skilled players. I've voiced my concern. | ||

I said we didn't have an official time, nor an opponent in "my matches" (what we use). I said we couldn't determine the final 4 brackets till they were made. (Laurent just came on to cover his ass by saying it was a mistake in the past when they changed the brackets). Even with that said, that does not make this fraudulent tourney permissible. I knew about the order of those brackets before today, so the only reason I would even consider showing up is if I knew there was a mistake... You guys don't have a vested interested, so I don't expect your knowledge of this situation to be vast enough to make determinations. But, please -- you guys are wrong if not siding with me -- so at least stop the bandwagoning shit. If I'm wrong about anything I've said regarding WCG, just prove it then. | ||

you were initially banned for something unrelated to your posting here. this sparked some decision and moderators were not fully in agreement with eachother, and it was decided that you'd be unbanned. now however, you were banned for how you conduct yourself on these very forums - absolutely horrible over the past pages. you can't expect to be allowed to make posts like "Laurent, I don't lie. I don't give a fuck, I'm going to tell it how it fucking is. Why don't u be so fucking kind to everyone to post what I had in my fucking walkover submission you fucking lying piece of shit. I hope you fucking die.".. I understand that you're angry but this kind of shit is just entirely counterproductive to your case - I was originally kinda supportive of you honestly, I thought you did something slightly wrong but not at all worthy of crucifiction, but now I find it more likely that you're just full of shit because you act like someone who is. take the opportunity being banned gives you to calm down. | ||
