Seconded. Looking forward to seeing CJ Ace edit: Actually. I'm not so sure about Spear < Cloud, Cloud is on a major losing streak. I hope he does well... Oldtimers <3

Hey don't complain about your clothes guys, you look cute!
LOL. Tasteless is pissed.
He's got a point, though, about over-professionalizing something that is essentially underground.
Its not really that "Underground" in korea and it'd be just strange if the english commentators wore less professional suits than the korean ones when they're nearly sitting next to each other.

Actually they dont sit close to each other anymore because apparently Tasteless' voice could be picked up on the korean stream when he was really excited. They mentioned this on the first cast of this season.
Looking at the commercials, I still find it strange that GOM of all channel would host starcraft tournaments. I was told that this is a kdrama station by a friend of mine.
why does no one know wtf the bulldog is or it's origins?
there was a semi famous korean cult following protoss player named bulldog who would open up with robo before dragoon every game and then when you make your observatory you make 2 more gateways and judge wtf to do with all of your dragoons and go allin or whatever once your observer scouts

yes, considering him being tasteless i'm really surprised he still hasn't caught onto this fact yet. iirc daezang back in his amateur days popularized this build to the progamers

Isn't bulldog like 3 gate goons with a shuttle and 4 zealots, timing attack as T's nat gets up?

bisu build imo
edit: oh sweet this was my "1337" post and it was a bisu build joke, what a proud day

They've been up for like 10 hours, why would you not watch?

Uh well you know not everyone has infinite amounts of free time. >.>

When his games first started really getting around there were tons of them everywhere, and many of them showed him scouting the T prepared for it and him dual expanding. It was such a nicely orchestrated, and surprisingly flexible, build that it makes me a little sad to see the name so widely misused.

no room for building and you can not leave your island with 5 wraiths only (you dont have any depots) and theres tons of minerals around so he could happily get huge amount of stuff too
Casy is the Cinderella of StarCraft. If all progamers were like him watching SC would've been better than a night with Jessica Alba. Casy is actually playing the game... <3 4eva
LOLLLL they told one of the commentators to move more inwards into the desk, and the woman commentator said, "he can't... his stomach gets in the way" then later, "just put your stomach ON the desk, maybe that'll work"
On April 05 2009 20:31 Shikyo wrote: Why would anyone get a third base vs 1 base Terran?
yup, that was stupid.
It wasn't stupid, he just needed 2 seconds to hang on it and afterwards he paniced and made a bunch of bad descisions
Yes imo, generally its stupid to take a fast third vs 1base terran. You dont need 3base eco to defeat 1base eco. If you try to, you will be vulnerable to early midgame attack which 1base terran is all about.
July sacrifices muta timing in order to get a faster third. This lets him get enough shit to just break Idra's ball and win~
That was a pretty different opening though... it just seems better to wait until they're taking their nat, and then they have to defend it or go back to 1 v 2 bases when you counterattack... or maybe I'm just a noob =D
My bad... I thought I was watching game 3. Still not in. Hopefully he can pulls it off since ZvT isn't his biggest strength, if he can beat DE he could surprises people in this tournament.
Finally the match I've been waiting for.. also, I didn't know GomTV lowered the quality of its free stream so much T_T. Still watchable though, I suppose.
all the korean commercials seem to have some kind of a lame song... I guess that's the style but it's sometimes so annoying. I have no idea how that would make people buy the products more...

It depends on the song. Jingles can be good if they are catchy. Korean commercials are pretty good, along with Japanese commercials.
American commercials are just actors playing people in "real" situations while spouting annoying lines to get all the product information in.

I agree. Most of the games haven't been anything special except for a few but Tasteless & Daniel Lee makes it so much more interesting with their in-game commentary and tidbits about random stuff.

True but that reaver served it's purpose anyways, so no biggie

Barring a major mistake, Skyhigh should roll now given his superior skill. He's oozing with the "I'm the better player" confidence now (and can you blame him?)
