Man, what an anti-climax in that last game.

Edit: Also, is this interview with both players after the match generally done? How much would that suck after you lost on something silly like that.

A B- friend of mine can kill my archons with Mutalisks without me being really able to hit him once if he's above cliff, and it's still very difficult to land hits even on flat ground. It seriously isn't a measure of skill, and you have to factor in the multitasking and such you do in the meanwhile. Zero also was microing above a cliff, it's for more difficult without one.

Yes, actually.
The closer the players are to perfect, then the slightest mistake or build order advantage is IMMEDIATELY grabbed upon and NOT let go.

Great comeback games are made because one player slips up and loses his advantage (sometimes back and forth!)

That is NOT happeneing among these two players.

So yes - if you are looking for pure entertainment, then Bisu/Jaedong are in fact too good
However, this is a raw display of skill and I am enjoying it quite immensly.

Thank you Atrioc, for this explanation. Rucky is one of those types who complain games end quickly and in boring 'cheese' tactics (which are quite exciting), and wants an 'epic' mass carriers v. devourers fight. Ugh.

This is how I felt after waking up and watching these matches. The scouting was amazing, and both players were at the top of their games. However, this meant that when one player got an advantage, the advantage wasn't going anywhere, and they just extended their leads into wins.

God this is like WWE wrestling on tv. They book some awesome uber deciding match between two guys with huge heat only to have it end in a DQ/No Contest so neither of them lose face. I feel so robbed i wanted Jaedong to outright beat bisu and show the world hes trash by comparison, not have bisu scream it from the rafters.

I think this match did exactly what it set out to do - be an entertaining show match. It did leave a slightly hollow feeling because it lacked the prestige of an actual Starleague title where players had gone through loads of tough games to get the final.

I really don't see how "trash" decribes Bisu.

Out of curiosity the ramp can be blocked with two zeals right?

when bisu held off who had the advantage before he let the next big wave or zerglings in again? they showed his base and jaedong had no drones at his base. if bisu didnt let that second big wave in, was he ahead?

@Simplistik: I'm pretty sure that ramp cannot be blocked with 2 zealots alone.

But yea, as everyone else has already said, game 5 was anticlimactic. Here I was, hoping to even see a Dark Archon in the game, but my dreams have been shot down.

I don't quite get what happened to Bisu in the last game. Surely he knew it can't be blocked with two zeals. He saw the lings coming, why didn't he pull probes? That would've saved him. I could forgive him for screwing up the first block. But couldn't he have pulled probes the second time at least? Kinda annoying.
